Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada Pokok Bahasan Sumber Daya Alam dengan menggunakan metode tanya jawab di kelas IV SDN Fatufia Kec Bahodopi Kab. Morowali. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di SDN Fatufia Kec. Bahodopi Kab. Morowali, melibatkan 30 orang siswa terdiri atas 17 orang laki-laki dan 13 orang perempuan yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri atas dua siklus. Di mana pada setiap siklus dilaksanakan dua kali pertemuan di kelas dan setiap siklus terdiri empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tindakan siklus I diperoleh ketuntasan klasikal 30% dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 60,67 Pada tindakan siklus II diperoleh ketuntasan klasikal 100% dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 87. Hal ini berarti pembelajaran pada siklus II telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan dengan ketuntasan belajar klsikal minimal 80% dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa minimal 70. Dengan demikian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode tanya jawab dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan sumber daya alam di kelas IV SDN Fatufia Kecamatan Bahodopi Kabupaten Morowali. Abstract

Pooti (Hopea gregaria Slooten) is a tree species of the Dipterocarpaceae. It is an endemic tree in Southeast Sulawesi and its existence is endangered. Flowering and fruiting periods of pooti is certainly unknown and do not produce fruits regularry which causes problem in generative propagation. One of the factors that influence the success of shoot cuttings is the presence of growth regulating substance, including the use of Rootone-F. The purpose of this study was to obtain the right dosage of growth regulators for the successful growth of pooti shoot cuttings. Design of the research was completely randomized design consisting of 8 concentrations of Rootone-F, i.e.  (a) 0 ppm, (b) 50 ppm, (c) 75 ppm, (d) 100 ppm, (e) 125 ppm (f) 150 ppm, (g) 175 ppm and (h) 200 ppm. The result showed that Rootone-F treatment had not significant effect on all observed variables except for the number of secondary roots. Application of 200 ppm Rootone-F had significantly increased in secondary roots number of pooti shoot cuttings. Pooti plants are easily propagated by shoot cuttings without any treatment of Rootone-F.

Abstract

Gold mine tailing soil media is characterized by low soil fertility and heavy metals toxicity. As an effort to improve the condition of gold mine tailing soil media, a revegetation experiment using Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) and soil media from gold mine tailing was conducted in the greenhouse. The objectives were to assess initial growth, P uptake and Pb reduction in Nauclea orientalis L. plants inoculated with indigenous AMF grown on gold mine tailing soil media. Three AMF fungi were used in this study, i.e. Glomus aggregatum, Glomus sp. and Acaulospora delicata. The experiment was conducted in Completely Randomized Design, having four treatments, i.e. control, G. aggregatum, Glomus sp. and A. delicata. The experiment was carried out for 3 months in a greenhouse scale. The results showed that local AMF inoculation significantly increased the height and stem diameter of lonkida by 181-213% and 284-443%, respectively, compared to control. The highest measurements of leaf’s length and width of lonkida seedlings were obtained from Glomus sp. and A. delicata treatments. Glomus sp. and A. delicata each significantly increased P levels in roots and shoots. Inoculation with G. aggregatum reduced Pb in the root and shoots parts by 74-86% and 72-76%, respectively, compared to controls. Local AMFs are potential to be developed as biological fertilizers to support revegetation in degraded lands, such as in gold mine tailing areas.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the composition and diversity of understorey vegetation in Teak plantation at the Lambakara village, Laeya district, South Konawe and predict bigger biomassa and bottom botanical carbon trove on Teak plantation. This research was conducted at the Lambakara village, Laeya district, South Konawe, since September until November 2012. This study used a survey. Method a line transect by 0,01% intensity sampling was used in this research.  there were 30 plots (2 m x 2 m) for analyzing vegetations.  The results ofthe identification of plant species under the stands of teak found 24 species n 12 families. From the results of the study also note that from 24 plant species identified below there are 21 types of the non-legume plants and there are only 3 types of understorey legumes. The kind that has a density, frequency and importance value index of the highest type of Rumput Signal (Brachiaria decumbens) of the family Poaceae.  Mastery level of plant species under the stands of Teak is low. Total value of diversity index(H’) under the stands of Teak plants are 1.036 (rich medium). Total carbon storage by plants under 0,0575 tonnesHa-1. Teak with 2 years have the highest carbon storage 0,008 tonnesHa-1. Keywords: Teak, understorey, diversity, Biomassa

Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan budidaya bitti berbasis pupuk hayati mikoriza oleh anggota kelompok tani hutan (KTH) di Kelurahan Poea, Rumbia Tengah, Bombana. Metode untuk memperoleh data dilakukan dengan cara Pre-test dan post test kepada 30 peserta Penyuluhan dan Bimbingan Teknis yang dilakukan pada tanggal 2-3 Oktober 2021 di kelurahan Poea. Hasil analisis pre dan post-test menunjukkan bahwa anggota KTH mengetahui bitti dan peluang pasarnya secara jelas. Pengetahuan. Peningkatan kapasistas petani hutan perlu dilakukan melalui penyuluhan dan bimbingan teknis.

Abstract

Abiotic stress is a limiting factor for plant growth and development. The use of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi can reduce the negative effects of abiotic stress. This study aimed to determine the tolerance of Nauclea orientalis inoculated with mycorrhizae to drought and waterlogging stresses. This research was carried out at the Indonesian Mycorrhizal Association’s greenhouse and Forestry laboratory University of Halu Oleo in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, from March to June 2019. The study used a factorial completely randomized design consisting of two factors. The first factor was Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) inoculations (A) consisting of a control, AMF types of Acaulospora sp.-1, and Claroideoglomus etunicatum.  The secod factor was environmental stress treatments (B) consisting of a control, soil moisture 25% of field capacity, 50% of field capacity, inundated as high the polybag (9 cm high) and inundated over the polybag. The results showed that local AMF was effective in improving plant growth. Interaction between inoculation of Acaulospora sp.-1 and environmental stress significantly increased AMF colonization on the N. orientalis roots. Inoculation of C.etunicatum significantly improved the N. orientalis growth. The treatment of drought stress with a field of 50% field capacity negatively influenced plant dry weight and the relative growth of the N. orientalis.

Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk membangun kampung kelor sebagai upaya konservasi lahan terdegradasi perkotaan dan meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat di masa new normal di Kelurahan Petoaha Kota Kendari. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dan bimbingan teknis meliputi perencanaan mulai dari survei lokasi, perijinan dan wawancara, pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan, pembibitan dan budidaya kelor serta evaluasi untuk meminimalisir kelemahan dan hambatan selama kegiatan berlangsung. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa setelah dilakukan penyuluhan dan bimbingan teknis pengetahuan dan kapasitas masyarakat mengalami peningkatan terkait manfaat kelor dan teknik budidayanya mulai dari pengumpulan benih, seleksi benih, perkecambahan benih, penanaman sampai pemeliharaan. Selain itu masyarakat memperoleh manfaat ekonomi dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat terintegrasi KKN-Tematik
