Abstract

This study investigates and analyzes the management of Tabling Jamaah Jaulah activities in Bilah Hilir sub-district, Labuhan Batu Regency, North Sumatra. This study employs a qualitative approach and case study method. Data was gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation, with informants including members of the Tabligh, local communities, and sub-district officials. The data was analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The findings show that Tabligh activities are managed collectively and participative, involving planning, implementation, and evaluation. The management is consistent with the concept of dawah and motivation taught in Islam. The Jamaah Tabligh also preaches using humanist, inclusive, and dialogical strategies and methods, focusing on morals and manners, respecting and appreciating the local community, and inviting rather than forcing. The Jamaah Tabligh also adheres to its six principles, which are Kalimah Thoyyibah, Salat Khusyu wal Khudu, Ilmu and Zikir, Ikraamul Muslimin, Ikhlas and Niyyat, and Dakwah Tabligh. The Jamaah Tabligh has both positive and negative effects and internal and external challenges when preaching. This study suggests methods to improve resources, skills, coordination, discipline, understanding, and proper application of Islamic teachings, as well as overcome existing attitudes, differences, interventions, influences, and slander.

Abstract

Dalam konteks Indonesia, praktik dakwah telah menjadi fenomena yang umum di masyarakat. Kegiatan seperti perayaan hari raya, ceramah, kajian agama, serta pelajaran mengaji rutin diadakan di berbagai masjid. Namun, di Kota Tanjung Balai, partisipasi remaja dalam kegiatan dakwah masih terbilang rendah. Meskipun organisasi remaja masjid sering menggelar beragam acara dakwah, jumlah anggota remaja yang aktif terlibat relatif sedikit, dengan kehadiran yang didominasi oleh orang tua. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis minat pemuda Islam di Kota Tanjung Balai terhadap partisipasi dalam kegiatan dakwah. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan melalui platform Google Forms, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menghasilkan temuan yang valid dan sesuai dengan realitas lapangan melalui penerapan berbagai teknik analisis statistik yang relevan, seperti Uji Statistik Deskriptif, Regresi Linier Berganda, Uji t, dan Uji F. Berdasarkan analisis motivasi (X2), Religuis (X1), dan pengetahuan (X3), minat (Y) dalam partisipasi kegiatan dakwah remaja Islam dipengaruhi. Hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima, sementara hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak, dengan hasil perhitungan F sebesar 73,490 dan nilai signifikansi (sig) = 0,001, yang melebihi nilai F tabel (1,17). Nilai signifikansi yang kurang dari 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor tersebut secara simultan memainkan peran yang signifikan dalam memengaruhi partisipasi remaja Islam dalam kegiatan dakwah. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa minat untuk berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan dakwah secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh faktor agama, motivasi, dan pengetahuan.   In the Indonesian context, the practice of da'wah has become a common phenomenon in society. Activities such as holiday celebrations, lectures, religious studies, and recitation lessons are routinely held in various mosques. However, in Tanjung Balai City, youth participation in da'wah activities is still relatively low. Although mosque youth organizations often hold various da'wah events, the number of teenage members who are actively involved is relatively small, with attendance dominated by parents. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the interest of Islamic youth in Tanjung Balai City towards participation in da'wah activities. A quantitative approach was used in this study, with data collection conducted through questionnaires distributed through the Google Forms platform, then analyzed using SPSS software. The main objective of this research is to produce valid research results according to field facts through the use of various statistical analysis techniques, such as Descriptive Statistical Test, Multiple Linear Regression, t test, and F test. Based on the analysis of motivation (X2), Relequis (X1), and knowledge (X3), interest (Y) in the participation of Islamic youth da'wah activities is influenced. The alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted, while the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, with the result of F calculation of 73.490 and significance value (sig) = 0.001, which exceeds the value of F table (1.17). The significance value of less than 0.05 indicates that the factors simultaneously play a significant role in influencing Islamic youth participation in da'wah activities. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that interest in participating in da'wah activities is significantly influenced by the factors of religion, motivation, and knowledge.

Abstract

Minat baca merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam perkembangan intelektual dan kreatif pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat baca anak usia Sekolah Dasar di lingkungan sekitar Taman Baca Masyarakat Desa Percut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah angket, observasi dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sebanyak 138 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat baca anak usia Sekolah Dasar sangat tinggi. Hal ini mencakup berbagai topik, termasuk menilai membaca di TBM dalam memenuhi kebutuhan belajar, mengenali keinginan anak untuk berkunjung, menarik perhatian pembaca muda dengan sampul dan isi buku yang menawan, dan mendorong rasa senang dalam proses membaca yang terpisah dari lingkungan. anak-anak. Pembaca mungkin menganggap membaca sebagai hobi yang hemat waktu di TBM, yang menghasilkan pembacaan dua hingga enam jilid dalam satu minggu, serta kegembiraan yang didapat dari menyelesaikan sebuah buku dan berhubungan dengan orang lain, Agar ilmu yang diperolehnya dapat bermanfaat baik bagi diri sendiri maupun orang lain, hendaknya mereka menindaklanjuti buku-buku yang telah dibacanya dengan menginformasikan kepada teman-temannya. Selain itu, keberadaan TBM dapat mendorong anak usia Sekolah Dasar untuk lebih banyak membaca dalam suasana TBM.   Reading interest is one of the important aspects in children's intellectual and creative development. This study aims to determine the reading interest of elementary school children in the neighborhood around the Percut Village Community Reading Park. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. The data collection methods used are questionnaires, observation and documentation. In this study, the sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total of 138 respondents. The results showed that the reading interest of elementary school children is very high. This covers a variety of topics, including valuing reading at TBMs in meeting learning needs, recognizing children's desire to visit, attracting the attention of young readers with captivating book covers and content, and encouraging a sense of pleasure in the reading process that is separate from the environment of children. Readers may perceive reading as a time-saving hobby at TBMs, resulting in the reading of two to six volumes in one week, as well as the joy derived from finishing a book and connecting with others, In order for the knowledge gained to be useful both for themselves and others, they should follow up on the books they have read by informing their friends. In addition, the existence of TBMs can encourage elementary school-age children to read more in a TBM setting.

Abstract

This research discusses the planning and implementation of innovative da'wah carried out by the Indonesian Mosque Youth Communication Agency (BKPRMI) in an effort to strengthen youth religious development in Tanjung Tiram District. Adolescents are one group that requires special attention in religious formation. However, the challenges faced in presenting da'wah that is relevant to current developments are something that cannot be ignored. The method in this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research reveals effective strategies implemented by BKPRMI in carrying out da'wah that is relevant to current developments. The research results show that BKPRMI has carried out careful planning in facing challenges and BKPRMI has implemented various innovations in da'wah, such as the use of digital media, mentoring programs and social religious activities specifically designed to attract the interest of teenagers. Apart from that, collaboration with schools, local communities and parents is also the key to success in this coaching program. The challenges faced include limited resources, resistance from some teenagers, and lack of support from several related parties.
