Abstract

Scabies is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Sarcoptes scabiei variant hominis and is transmitted directly or indirectly. This study aims to find out what are the factors that precipitating the incidence of scabies in students at Islamic boarding schools. And using a quantitative method with a descriptive analytic  research design that uses a cross sectional approach. Data collection used a questionnaire using  total sampling which involved 124 class 1 student respondents at the Al-Mu'awanah Malnu Menes Islamic Boarding School. The results showed that almost half of the respondents were women and with an average age of 12 years. There are 87 students with poor knowledge (70.2%). There are 78 students with bad attitudes (62.9%). There are 77 students who have less personal hygiene (62.1%). And most of the pesantren environmental sanitation is not supportive, namely 97 (78.2%). The results of the bivariate analysis test found that the knowledge variable obtained a p-value of 0.003, which means that there is a relationship between knowledge and the incidence of scabies, attitude with a p-value of 1.000, personal hygiene with a p-value of 0.210 and environmental sanitation with a p-value of 0.407 which means that these three variables have no relationship to the incidence of scabies. The results of this study are expected to be a reference material for Islamic boarding schools to always maintain and pay attention to personal hygiene and environmental sanitation.AbstrakScabies merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh bakteri sarcoptes scabiei varian hominis dan ditularkan secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor-faktor yang mencetuskan kejadian Skabies pada santri di pondok pesantren. Dan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif analitik yang menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan menggunakan total sampling yang melibatkan124 responden santri kelas 1 di pondok Pesantren Al-Mu’awanah Malnu Menes. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hampir setengah dari responden adalah perempuan dan dengan rata-rata usia 12 tahun. Santri yang berpengetahuan kurang baik sebanyak 87 (70,2%). Santri dengan sikap yang buruk sebanyak 78 (62,9%). Santri yang memiliki personal hygiene kurang sebanyak 77 (62,1%), sebagian besar sanitasi lingkungan pesantren kurang mendukung, yaitu 97 (78,2%). Hasil uji analisis bivariat didapatkan bahwa variabel pengetahuan memperoleh nilai p-value 0,003 yang artinya terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan kejadian scabies,, sikap dengan nilai p-value 1,000, personal hygiene dengan nilai p-value 0,210 dan sanitasi lingkungan dengan nilai p-value 0,407 yang artinya ketiga variable tersebut tidak memiliki hubungan terhadap kejadian skabies. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bisa menjadi bahan acuan bagi pihak pondok pesantren untuk selalu menjaga dan memperhatikan sikap personal hygiene dan sanitasi lingkungan.

Abstract

The IPV (Inactive Polio Vaccine) immunization is a mandatory primary immunization that should be administered to infants aged 4-11 months. Infants are at risk of contracting polio (poliomyelitis) if they do not receive IPV immunization. Maternal knowledge about IPV immunization is crucial to ensure that mothers can provide this immunization to their infants. This research aims to determine the impact of health education on IPV immunization for infants in the Carita Health Center's working area. This study employs a quasi-experimental design, specifically a one-group design without a control group. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, with 53 respondents participating. Data were analyzed using the dependent t test The average pretest score was 8.17, while the average posttest score was 11.72. The difference in the average scores between the maternal knowledge pretest and posttest was -3.547. The paired t-test results showed a p-value of <0.001, indicating that there is an influence of health education on IPV immunization for infants on maternal knowledge in the Carita Health Center's working area. Therefore, there is a need for a change in the method and the addition of health education media in the form of colorful leaflets with accompanying pictures, to be distributed during every integrated health post activity.AbstrakImunisasi IPV (Inactive Polio Vaccine) adalah imunisasi dasar yang wajib diberikan kepada bayi usia 4-11 bulan. Bayi akan beresiko terkena penyakit polio (poliomyelitis) jika tidak diberikan imunisasi IPV. Pengetahuan ibu tentang imunisasi IPV sangat penting agar ibu dapat memberikan imunisasi IPV pada bayinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang imunisasi IPV pada bayi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Carita. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen, one group without control.  Instrument yang digunakan berupa kuesioner. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling sebanyak 53 responden.Data di analisis dengan menggunakan uji T dependen Hasil rata-rata pretest yaitu 8,17, rata-rata posttest yaitu 11,72. Hasil selisih rata-rata pengetahuan ibu pretest dan posttest -3.547. Hasil uji paired t-test diperoleh nilai p <0,001, yang berarti ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang imunisasi IPV pada bayi terhadap pengetahuan ibu di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Carita. Perlu adanya perubahan metode dan penambahan media pendidikan kesehatan berupa leaflet yang berwarna disertai gambar dan diberikan  setiap kegiatan posyandu.

Abstract

Engaging in casual sex encompasses all behaviors driven by sexual desire, whether with individuals of the opposite gender or the same gender. The objective of this research is to examine the effectiveness of employing audiovisual media and booklet media in enhancing adolescents' understanding of casual sexual behaviors. This study employs a Quasi-Experiment with a one-group pre-test-post-test design methodology. The research population consists of 847 respondents, with a sample size of 32 respondents chosen through the Simple Random Sampling technique. Research findings reveal a disparity in knowledge acquisition between audiovisual media, with an average score of 14.69, and booklet media, with an average score of 13.94, demonstrating a significant level (p-value = 0.011). The research concludes that a meaningful distinction exists between the effectiveness of educating adolescents about casual sexual behaviors using audiovisual media versus booklet media. Based on these research outcomes, it is hoped that educational institutions will optimize the provision of sexual health education for adolescents, addressing the topic of casual sexual behaviors through both audiovisual and booklet media to prevent adolescents from engaging in sexually risky behaviors.BAHASA INDONESIA Perilaku seks bebas merujuk pada segala bentuk tindakan yang dipicu oleh dorongan seksual, baik itu dengan pasangan lawan jenis maupun sesama jenis. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk menguji efektivitas penggunaan media audiovisual dan media booklet dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja tentang perilaku seks bebas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimen dengan Desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 847 responden, sampel terdiri dari 32 responden yang dipilih menggunakan Teknik Simple Random Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan dalam pengetahuan antara kelompok yang menggunakan media audiovisual (rata-rata 14.69) dan kelompok yang menggunakan media booklet (rata-rata 13.94), dengan nilai p (p value) sebesar 0,011. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa terdapat perbedaan efektif antara penggunaan media audiovisual dan media booklet dalam penyuluhan tentang perilaku seks bebas. Berdasarkan hasil temuan ini, disarankan agar pihak sekolah memaksimalkan penggunaan pendekatan pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan media audiovisual dan booklet untuk menghadapi potensi perilaku seks bebas di kalangan remaja.

Abstract

School is a place of work for teachers and a place to gain knowledge for students so it should be able to provide guarantees of safety, security and health. The aim of this research isto increase knowledge, understanding and build awareness target audience regarding the importance of efforts to prevent accidents at school for MAN 2 Serang City students. This research uses the methods of pretest and posttest. Research analysis using the t-test. The results of the research show that the p-value is 0.000, p<α so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between knowledge before counseling and after counseling.
