Abstract

The analysis is based on a detailed evaluation of primary data collected through case studies, questionnaires, and semi-structured interviews in Senior secondary schools in Masingbi. Mathematics education learning is explored to understand the issues surrounding Technology integration. This study shows that despite the perceived advantages of Technology integrated teaching and learning methods, there are barriers closely connected to teachers’ teaching beliefs at work. Most educators admitted the lack of ongoing professional training programs and curriculum expectations as among the factors that affect their attitudes towards Technology in their respective Teaching and learning schools. Further empirical research is suggested to advance the exploration of the role of subject leaders in Technology -integrated Teaching and learning methods. This research provides an in-depth analysis of the exploration of own practice and mathematics teachers' perceptions on integrating Technology into teaching. The total sample size of respondents was sixty (60), and both simple random sampling technique was used to develop samples of Teachers and Pupils, while a purposive sampling technique was used to develop the sample for the Principals or Heads of Schools of the three selected senior schools in Masingbi as respondents

Abstract

The world of human education can be studied in a structured and well-supported manner. Because learning to build each person's personality. Interest is the tendency to observe and remember various activities. Always pay attention, followed by a sense of fun, interest, desire, concentration, and students' understanding of mathematics. Communication can be interpreted as a technique of conveying messages from a messenger to a recipient with the intention of expressing or informing a comment orally or in writing. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between interest and students' written communication skills in solving realistic mathematical problems. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data obtained by using questionnaires and tests. The subjects of this research were two students of class XI MIPA. The steps taken are through learning through the WhatsApp group by working on questionnaires and tests individually. The researcher identified and analyzed the answers to each indicator of interest and ability to write mathematical communications for each statement and question. The method of data analysis in this paper was tried through 3 stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the paper show that the relationship between interest and written communication skills in solving realistic math problems is directly proportional, where student 1's interest is still low and his ability is still classified as poor. Student 2 has moderate interest and his abilities are also directly proportional, namely not too bad and not too good

Abstract

StudyThis aims to: 1) improve speaking skills through learning activities and 2) improve speaking skills using the show-and-tell method for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 12 Selat Penuguan. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects in this research were class V students at SD Negeri 12 Penuguan Strait for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 32 students. The research design refers to classroom action research according to Kemmis which includes 1) planning 2) action implementation 3) observation and 4) reflection. The data collection methods used in this method are: 1) test 2) observation 3) documentation. Descriptive statistical data analysis techniques were used to analyze quantitative data, namely the average value, while the flow model was used for qualitative data analysis. The research results show that the use of the storytelling method can improve learning activities and speaking skills through the show and tell method. This is characterized by increased speaking skills in the aspects of pronunciation, intonation, word choice, sequence, courage, fluency, attitude, and mastery of themes

Abstract

Cassava can be consumed through various processing methods, including boiling, frying, grilling over wood charcoal, and pounding and processing into a starchy paste known as getup. During its day, this tradition exhibited qualities that were commendable, pragmatic, and held significant worth. Nevertheless, successfully adopting these preparations and cuisines among the millennial age and age Z necessitates ingenuity and inventiveness. This study investigates the potential of cassava rice as a viable alternative to paddy rice while also proposing strategies to enhance the reputation and market perception of cassava rice to match that of paddy rice objects. The researchers employed a systematic literature review methodology, which was subsequently followed by a comprehensive analysis and comparison of the data put forth in earlier investigations. The findings of the study indicate that cassava rice has the potential to serve as a viable alternative to traditional rice on a national scale. Hence, cassava rice can be analogous to regular rice due to its significant carbohydrate content, allowing it to fulfill the same dietary role. The primary objective of this research is to establish a foundation for micro companies to conduct experimental trials in order to substantiate the advantages of cassava rice, both in terms of its nutritional value and its potential for use in various recipes. The research is constrained by its methodology, which relies on longitudinal and laboratory findings as the theoretical foundation.

Abstract

Each community has unique needs that must be met, including clothing, food and shelter. Among these three basic needs, the need for food has the highest urgency and must be met with an adequate nutritional composition to support optimal health. This research aims to increase individual knowledge and skills, especially in semi-finished food production, in order to encourage the development of entrepreneurial individuals who can apply the entrepreneurial mindset and skills they have learned during higher education and then share these abilities with the wider community. This research uses problem solving strategies to examine the process of establishing a business, especially in the food industry. The research method involves data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews and periodic monitoring. Data analysis was carried out using the SWOT analysis method. The research results showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge and motivation regarding new business founding strategies. Additionally, they gain an in-depth understanding of effective food processing techniques for long-term storage while maintaining nutritional quality. Furthermore, the community demonstrated the ability to store and process food in accordance with quality standards set by the governmen.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the prevalence and contributing factors of needlestick and sharps injuries (NSIs) among healthcare workers (HCWs) at Bo Government Hospital, Southeast Sierra Leone. The primary objective is to identify key risk factors and evaluate the effectiveness of current safety protocols in reducing NSI incidents in the main operating theater and theater complex. A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted involving 60 randomly selected HCWs, including doctors, nurses, and support staff. Data were collected through structured interviews using a questionnaire that addressed demographics, knowledge of blood-borne diseases, adherence to standard precautions, and experience with NSIs. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to identify trends and associations between NSI occurrences and various occupational factors. The study revealed that 60% of the respondents had experienced NSIs, with a significant proportion attributing incidents to factors such as inadequate training, improper use of protective equipment, and high workload. Despite awareness of reporting mechanisms, only 40% of those affected reported their injuries to the appropriate authorities. The findings highlight the need for enhanced training programs, improved safety protocols, and more robust reporting systems to mitigate the risk of NSIs and ensure the safety of HCWs. This study underscores the urgent need for targeted interventions to reduce NSIs, thereby protecting HCWs from potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens and improving overall patient care quality in the hospital.
