Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Understand the implementation of the formation of students' independent character through the implementation of the full day school program at SDIT Creative Makkah Padang. 2) Knowing the supporting factors in forming students' independent character through the full day school program at SDIT Creative Makkah Padang. 3) Knowing the factors inhibiting the formation of students' independent character through the full day school program at SDIT Creative Makkah Padang. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach supported by data collection techniques in the form of interviews with 6 teaching staff, observations at school and data obtained from various literature such as books, journals and other related sources. The results of the research show that: 1) The formation of students' independent character is carried out with a curriculum by including tahfidz in the daily study schedule and the formation of personality character through habituation activities by carrying out dhuha prayers and obligatory noon and asr prayers in congregation. 2) Supporting factors in the formation of independent character are strong commitment from all parties who take part in cultivating student character, clear and structured planning of each activity, support and cooperation from teachers and parents. 3) Obstacles to the formation of independent character values are the different backgrounds and characters of students.

Abstract

From this research, the objectives are: 1) Describe the problems in the PAI learning process at SMP N 1 Tiumang. 2) Analyze the application of the guided inquiry model as a solution to PAI and BP learning problems at SMP N 1 Tiumang. 3) Analyze the impact of using the guided inquiry model on student activity. This research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. Then techniques for collecting data include interviews with teachers in the PAI and BP study fields, observations at school and data obtained from various kinds of literature such as books, journals and other related sources. The results of the research show that: 1) In the learning process in the classroom the teacher is not clear about what type of learning model to use in the classroom. Learning only runs conventionally where the teacher explains the material/information in the textbook. Then the students sat down and most of them did not pay attention to the material read by the teacher. 2) The application of the guided inquiry model in the classroom is divided into 3 activities, namely the opening, core and final activities, namely the closing. In the core activity, students are divided into several groups to work on and discuss assignments that have been given by the teacher previously. 3) The impact of using this guided inquiry learning model can increase the activity of most students in class.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this research is to find out how Islamic education was during the Umayyad era and find out its role in the development of Islamic education. During the Umayyad dynasty, the education pattern was decentralized. Students who seek knowledge do not only study with one cleric, but go to other cities to continue and deepen their knowledge. The study of science in this period was centered in Damascus, Kufa, Mecca, Medina, Egypt, Cordova and several other cities, such as: Basrah and Kuffah (Iraq), Damascus and Palestine (Syam), Fustat (Egypt). The research method used is literature study by searching for relevant study material from trusted sources. The results of this research are the same as during the time of Rasulullah SAW and Khulafaur Rasyiddin. At this time, mosques and kuttabs are still used as educational institutions, apart from that, educational institutions have also developed. The role in the development of Islamic education is that Islamic education must be able to integrate reason and revelation to become a harmonious unity, the existence of student exchanges, translation of books or knowledge from foreign languages ​​to national languages, educational facilities in urban centers of government
