Abstract

Red betel is a plant that has many benefits as a medicinal plant, red betel plant is a source of traditional medicinal ingredients that are widely used from generation to generation. some antiseptics inhibit growth against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. The research stages used included the collection and processing of samples, the characteristics of simplicia, phytochemical screening, the manufacture of ethanol extracts by maceration using 96% ethanol solvent, and the antibacterial activity test using the agar diffusion method using a paper barrier against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus by measuring the zone diameter. inhibit bacterial growth. The results of the examination of the characteristics of the red betel leaf simplicia powder showed total ash content of 9.65%, acid insoluble ash content of 1.20%. The results of the phytochemical screening examination contained chemical compounds of the phlovonoid group, saponin tannins, and triterpenoid streroids. The ethanol extract of red betel leaf has antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aereus. The results of the antibacterial activity test for the ethanol extract of red betel leaf against Escherichia coli bacteria obtained KHM 100 mg/ml with a diameter of 25 mm from Staphylococcus gereus and obtained KHM 100 mg/ml with a diameter of 28 mm.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is a direct infectious disease caused by the bacterium Microbacterium Tuberculosis. Transmission occurs when a TB patient coughs or sneezes, the germs are spread in the air in the form of sputum droplets (droplet nuclei). The use of OAT in TB patients based on the duration of OAT consumption can cause a decrease in hematocrit values due to side effects of the drug, namely anemia and thrombocytopenia. The method used in this research is descriptive. This study aims to describe the hematocrit value of TB patients receiving OAT treatment at the Raya Pematangsiantar Health Center. The sample of this research is 30 people taken by purposive sampling. The results of the study showed that 24 people (80%) received OAT treatment at the end of the second month, where the examination results showed that 15 people (62.5%) had low hematocrit values, and 9 people (37.5%) were normal. ) shows a low hematocrit value. At the examination of patients receiving treatment at the end of the sixth month, 6 people (20%) showed that the results of the examination with low hematocrit values were 6 people (100%). The low hematocrit value found in TB patients on treatment at the end of the second and sixth months is due to the side effects of the OAT consumed, age, sex and immunity against bacteria that attack blood cells resulting in a decrease in the value of the hematocrit. It can be concluded that of the 30 TB patients who received OAT treatment at the end of the second and sixth months, the number of patients with low hematocrit values was more than those with normal hematocrit values. Therefore it is suggested to the public to be able to follow the treatment procedures that have been recommended especially for TB sufferers.

Abstract

The quality of services provided by the house greatly affects the image of the hospital and the satisfaction of patients who visit the hospital. One of the factors that plays a role in the quality of hospital services is the evaluation of the management of drug supplies in the hospital. Evaluation of drug supply governance is necessary to prevent drug shortages (stock out), drug excess (over stock), and drug vacancies in a limited manner. There has been a drug vacuum in the trading hospital due to an increase in the number of patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the evaluation of drug supply management in the Pharmacy Warehouse of the Trade Simalungun District Hospital. This type of research is descriptive research with an observational approach. In this study, there was a source of information, namely from the Head of the Pharmacy Installation. The results showed that the evaluation of drug supply management in the pharmaceutical warehouse of the Simalungun District Hospital of Commerce was quite effective, but there are several factors that can affect drug vacancies. This can be seen from several components of Input (especially the storage warehouse which is less representative), Process (inconsistency with the use of preparations, inaccurate planning, changing room temperatures affecting existing supplies, resulting in damaged and expired supplies) and Output. (As needed). It is expected that the Head of the Pharmacy Installation of the Simalungun District Hospital for Trade will pay more attention to the planning and procurement of drugs to minimize forgotten preparations and avoid expired drugs. Doctors carry out their duties as health service providers, doctors will not be separated from things called prescriptions. Prescription is the final embodiment of physician competence in medical care. A good prescription should contain enough information to enable the pharmacist concerned to understand what drug is to be given to the patient. The aim was to find out the completeness of prescriptions at the Petatal Health Center in accordance with PMK No. 74 of 2016. The research was descriptive in nature, with random data collection and observing incoming recipes during the January-December 2018 period written by doctors. Administrative screening was carried out on 384 doctor's prescriptions by filling in the data collection table, according to the completeness aspect of the prescription being reviewed.

Abstract

This study aims to determineThe Effect of Leadership Style on Employee Performance at Pt. Karya Hevea Indonesia With Work Discipline As Intervening Variable. Based on 1)it can be seen that tcount (4.363) > ttable (1.701), as well as with a significance value of 0.00 <0.05, it can be concluded that the first hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the Leadership Style variable(X) positive and significant effecton Work Discipline (Y1). 2) it can be seen that tcount (1.917) > ttable (1.701), and a significance value of 0.00 <0.05, it can be concluded that the second hypothesis is accepted, meaning that Leadership Style(X) positive and significant effecton Employee Performance (Y2). 3) it can be seen that tcount (2.504) > ttable (1.701), and the significance value is 0.00 <0.05, it can be concluded that the third hypothesis is accepted, meaning Work Discipline (Y1)influentialpositive andsignificanton Employee Performance (Y2). 4) the direct effect of variable X on variable Y2 is 0.200. While the indirect effect through the Y1 variable is 0.636 x 0.329 = 0.2092, the results of the calculations show that the direct effect through the X variable is smaller than the indirect effect on the Y2 variable.
