Abstract

The water meter is a tool used to calculate the volume of water distributed by PDAM (Regional Water Supply Company) to customers, so that the amount to be paid can be determined. Measuring the level of accuracy of the customer's water meter aims to analyze the level of deviation of water volume measurements by water meters that occur in the field. This study is intended to analyze the effect of water meter calibration on the level of non-physical water loss. The research was conducted on 88 house connections in the Tozai Indah Lama area, Pematangsiantar City by comparing the readings of the customer's water meter with a 20 liter volume vessel. This study covers the relationship between the level of accuracy of the water meter and water loss. From the research results, the level of water loss has decreased from the beginning5.87 %become5.32 %. to the total water loss rate.

Patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in the elderly mostly occurred in women with a total of 79 respondents (79.8%). According to (Lukman and Ningsih 2014),the occurrence of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is due to hormonal disturbances (Estrogen) in the body of 99 elderly people, namely work activity factors which reached 61 people (61.8 %) and genetic factors amounted to 39 people (39.4%)

Abstract

Stroke rehabilitation is a program designed to give abilities to sufferers with physical disabilities and/or chronic illnesses, so that they can live or work fully according to their capacity. The rehabilitation program is not only limited to recovering conditions, but also includes rehabilitation that is psychosocial in nature, full of compassion and broad empathy, in order to resurrect sufferers. This research was conducted at the Pematangsiantar City Army Hospital. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of health education on changing the role of the family in the rehabilitation of post-stroke patients. The research design used was a quasy-experimental. According to Arikunto (2006) if the population is less than 100, it is better to take all of them, so that the research is a population study. But if the amount is large, it can be taken between 10%-15% or 20%-25% or more. From the above information, a population of 20% of 105 people is taken with a sample of 21 respondents, and the sampling technique used is purposive sampling, which is based on a consideration made by the researchers themselves, based on previously known characteristics or traits. From the results of the study before health education was carried out, 14% had a bad role, 67% had a good role, and 19% had a very good role. After health education, 62% had a good role, 38% had a very good role. –t count > -t table (-3.914 > -2.086) with p value <0.05 (0.001 <0.05).

The cells and liver tissue that is damaged and then turned into scar tissue so that the function of the liver will progressively decrease. This research is an observational descriptive by using medical records of patients with liver cirrhosis at the Efarina Etaham Berastagi Hospital, in January-July 2019. The sample of the study is 25 samples. The results obtained by patients with liver cirrhosis highest proportion based on male sex (80%), based on age, age group 40-50 years (28%), 51-60 years (64%) Based on AST levels 21 respondents (84 % ), Based on ALT levels of 22 respondents (88%). Abstract

Blood glucose examination in the laboratory is used to determine blood glucose levels in the body. Delay in examination time can cause a decrease in blood glucose levels, so the results obtained do not match the actual body condition. This study aims to determine the difference between blood glucose levels in EDTA plasma samples and serum which were examined immediately and delayed for two hours. This research was conducted using an experimental observation method, namely clinical laboratory observations by measuring blood glucose levels using blood chemistry. The results of examining serum and plasma glucose levels in this study showed that the average value of glucose levels with plasma EDTA which was checked immediately was 99 mg/dl delayed 67.9 mg/dl and serum which was checked immediately was 100.8 mg/dl delayed 100.4 mg /dl.
