Abstract

In order to enhance each child's learning potential, teachers play a crucial part in the educational process. Consequently, it is up to the teacher to select the most effective learning technique. The purpose of this research is to ascertain how the Meaningful Instructional Design learning model can be implemented with students. This study employed a qualitative methodology using a descriptive approach. This Meaningful Instructional Design learning style has been shown through study to improve students' motivation and comprehension of learning. Students find it easier to absorb the content or concepts offered when there is a connection made between the lessons (text) and reality (context). in order to give students a genuine experience that will help them remember the lesson for a very long time. Students' interest in learning can therefore be raised by using the Meaningful Instructional Design learning approach.

Abstract

Motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas III SD Negeri 2 Seba dalam materi Ciri-Ciri Makhluk Hidup masih rendah. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan ketidak tuntasan sebanyak 56% atau 14 orang siswa membutuhkan tindakan lanjutan. Fakta inilah yang menjadi latar belakang penelitian dengan judul “Meningkatkani Motivasil Dan Hasil Belajari Siswa Dengan Menggunakan Media Audio Visual Dalam Materi Ciri-Ciri Makhluk Hidup Di Kelas III SD Negeri 2 Seba”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan motivasil dan hasil belajari siswa kelas III SD Negeri 2 Seba. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SD Negeri 2 Seba sebanyak 25 orang yang terdiri dari 10 orang perempuan dan 15 orang laki-laki. Prosedur penelitian ini dilakukan melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi dalam sebuah siklus sebanyak 2 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar, ketuntasan dan keaktifan siswa dari pra siklus hanya 44% menjadi 100% pada siklus 1. Hal ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan persentase sebanyak 56%. Jadi pemanfaatan media audio visual bisa meningkatkan motivasi maupun hasil belajar siswa kelas III SD Negeri 2 Seba dalam materi ciri-ciri makhluk hidup.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ice breaking learning techniques in increasing students' learning interest. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design type of experimental research and used a nonequivalent control group. The population for this study were all of class X MIPA 1 and MIPA 2 with a total of 44 students. As for the sample, class X MIPA 1 as the experimental class and X MIPA 2 as the control class. The data collection technique was carried out by researchers by distributing interest in learning questionnaires to students which were distributed 2 times, namely before and after the application of the ice breaking learning technique. The results of the questionnaire validation test are all valid statements (r_count>= 0.297. ). Furthermore, the results of the instrument reliability test obtained Cronbach's alpha of 0.885 and belonged to the high reliability category. The results for the t test results obtained t-count > dat t-table ((5.517 > 2.021). Thus the expected hypothesis Ha is accepted, therefore it can be concluded that the ice breaking learning technique has an effect on increasing students' interest in learning mathematics Class X MIPA 1 Plus Munirul Arifin NW Praya Academic Year 2022/2023
