Abstract

Weak ability of students' creative thinking skills towards learning in Biology Education is shown by the lack of interactive learning and lack of creativity in giving examples of solutions to learning materials learning material. Students' creative thinking skills can be improved through application of problem-based learning model learning (PBL) model. This research aims to determine the existence of an increase in the creative thinking ability of students in class X MAN 3 Jombang through the problem-based learning model. based learning (PBL) learning model. Method method used in this research is class action research (PTK) with 2 cycles. cycle. The sample in this study were students of class X-7 MAN 3 Jombang City with a total of 40 people. The research instruments used were observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, written tests, and documentation. This research procedure uses quantitative descriptive data analysis. Based on the results of the study showed that creative thinking skills in cycle I amounted to 77.25% and cycle II amounted to 85.87%, an increase of 8.62%. This shows that the creative thinking skills of students in class X-7 MAN 3 Jombang City increased due to the application of the problem-based learning (PBL) model. ABSTRAKLemahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Biologi ditunjukan dengan kurangnya interaktif saat pembelajaran serta kurangnya kreatif dalam memberi contoh-contoh penyelesaian terhadap materi pembelajaran. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas X MAN 3 Jombang melalui model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan 2 siklus. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-7 MAN 3 Kota Jombang dengan jumlah 40 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi, lembar kuisioner, tes tertulis, dan dokumentasi. Prosedur penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kreatif pada siklus I sebesar 77.25% dan siklus II sebesar 85.87% maka peningkatan sebesar 8,62%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa siswa kelas X-7 MAN 3 Kota Jombang meningkat karena penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL).

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategi pembelajaran yang bisa diterapkan guru sebagai upaya memberikan pembelajaran kepada siswa dengan karakteristik lamban belajar. Pembahasan pada artikel ini merupakan hasil dari kajian Pustaka dengan riset kepustakaan melalui jurnal-jurnal nasional terakreditasi, studi buku referensi perpustakaan, serta observasi di beberapa Sekolah Dasar. Kajian ini akan mengulas strategi guru dalam pengajaran dan materi, tugas dan penilaian, tuntutan waktu, dan suasana belajar kepada siswa lamban belajar. Abstract

Guided inquiry learning encourages students to be more active in  learning so  that  students'  scientific literacy skills  can  be developed. Solving problems through investigative activities is one of the elements of contextual learning. Contextual learning by solving everyday problems is one aspect of the description of science literacy competencies. The investigation component in guided inquiry is expected to improve students' science literacy. This study aims to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning model on science literacy skills of 4th grade students of SDN Dukuharum Jombang. The population in this study were all 4th grade students of SDN Dukuharum Jombang in semester 1 of the 2022/2023 academic year, while the samples used were classes 4A and 4B. The experimental class and control class each consisted of 20 students. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental research method with a research design of nonequivalent pretest posttest pretest- posttest control group design.  The results of this study indicate that guided inquiry has a significant effect on science literacy skills.
