Abstract

This research was conducted because of problems regarding character that were found in the field, where there were complaints submitted by parents. This Islamic boarding school is an educational institution that is the choice in instilling character education. The purpose of this study is to find out how the habituation of congregational prayers is carried out in shaping the character of the santri, especially religious and disciplinary characters. The method used is to use qualitative methods with a case study approach, with data collection techniques by interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research that has been carried out are the habituation of congregational prayers at the Al-Husna Girls Dormitory carried out every day, especially at dawn, sunset and evening prayers. This habituation can form the religious and disciplined character of the students which can be seen from their activities, where the students are used to and are consistent in attending congregational prayers in a timely manner. And the supporting factors are adequate facilities and infrastructure, the role of administrators, and the awareness of the students who have formed, while the inhibiting factors are the use of the hall for other activities and the feeling of laziness that exists within the students. And the efforts made to overcome the obstacles that occur are by fulfilling facilities and infrastructure, minimizing the use of halls, cooperation between administrators and imposing sanctions.

Abstract

MDTA Al-Falah is an Islamic madrasah located in Hamlet 2 Cibango Rt.03/Rw.06 Telarsari Village, Jatisari District, Karawang Regency. Learning at MDTA Al-Falah is carried out every day, from Monday to Saturday at 14.00 - 16.00 in the afternoon. The students at MDTAl-Falah still lack skills in the art of Islamic calligraphy, because basically at MDTA Al-Falah itself there is no training in the art of Islamic calligraphy specifically for the students. Based on the problems at MDTA Al-Falah, the author decided to carry out Islamic calligraphy art training activities to increase the creativity of MDTA Al-Falah students. The KPM approach used in research is the PAR method or Participatory Action Research. The training program itself was carried out at MDTA Al-Falah involving MDTA Al-Falah students as the main assets in this program. Training activities were carried out in four meetings in stages. Based on the training process and the calligraphy results of the students, it can be concluded that holding Islamic calligraphy art training activities can increase the creativity of MDTA Al-Falah students.

Abstract

The Ummi method can lead students and female students to be able to read the Al-Quran well and correctly according to the tajwid, in reality the underlying problems are low activity in studying the Al-Quran, lack of motivation to learn the Al-Quran, non-varied learning methods and models, and ability. reading the Koran is still lacking. In this community service activity, the author wants to research the extent to which female students read the Koran by carrying out various methods including: Lectures, questions and answers and demonstrations on the practice of reading the Koran. This technique is used to make it easier for female students to read and practice the Al-Quran, especially in family, school and community environments. The ummi method is one method of studying the Koran. Ummi itself means Mother, who remains patient and gentle. And you can invite all students from the LDK (Student Da'wah Institute) informatics engineering study program at STT Wastukancana to learn to read the Koran using the Ummi method. Easily, quickly and according to the tajwid. This ummi method is starting to motivate female students because the method is easy, fun and calms the hearts of the readers. After learning the Koran using the Ummi method, it is easy for students to memorize wherever they are, of course it will be easy to remember.
