Abstract

The research objective was to analyze the determninant factors of Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO) in the Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) of the traditional food centers in Bandung. It used the EO dimension at the organizational level. Five dimensions were used to measure the EO level, namely risk-taking, innovativeness, competitive aggressiveness, proactiveness, and autonomy. The questionare’s was distributed to eight MSEs in Bandung. The sample size is 100 employee Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis techniques with Partial Least Square (PLS) was used to test the samples. This research shows that the EO level in the micro and small enterprises in the traditional food centers in Bandung is at a moderate level. Although EO of MSEs in the traditional food centers in Bandung is in the moderate category, the results of testing on the EO model find out that each EO dimension forms a significant EO construct. The four dominant and recommended dimensions forming an EO construct in MSEs are risk-taking, innovativeness, competitive aggressiveness, and proactiveness. Among the four dimensions, risk-taking is the dominant dimension. It indicates that courage in taking risks in MSEs is a natural characteristic of the EO in the traditional food centers in Bandung.

Abstract

The study presented in this paper analyzes City Brand Attractiveness. Focusing on the city in Indonesia, namely West Bandung Regency, this study aims to examine the factors that affect the City Brand Attractiveness. The empirical application is performed on the basis of a sample of 373 visitors who have traveled to West Bandung Regency, analyzed by using Rasch Model. The findings show that tourists 'response to the city's attractiveness is low, the Ancillary Service factor with a low response, and the Tourism Attraction factor get high expectations from tourists responses.

Abstract

The Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic has an impact on various lines in the international world, including Indonesia. The COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia has also changed various performances in various sectors, one of which is education. The concept of learning from home changes the paradigm of lecturers as educators in universities that apply online learning. This study aims to identify netizens' perceptions of the implementation of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a social network analysis method using an emprit drone. The subject of this research tweeted netizens from October 2021 to December 2021 in Indonesia which experienced the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Netizen view online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic as being divided into two large clusters, namely as something that has positive and negative sentiments. ABSTRAKPandemi Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) berdampak pada berbagai lini di dunia internasional, termasuk Indonesia. Pandemi COVID-19 di Indonesia juga telah mengubah berbagai kinerja di berbagai sektor, salah satunya adalah pendidikan. Konsep belajar dari rumah mengubah paradigma dosen sebagai pendidik di perguruan tinggi yang menerapkan pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi persepsi netizen terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran online di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode social network analysis menggunakan drone emprit. Subjek penelitian ini tweet netizen pada bulan Oktober 2021 sampai dengan Desember 2021 di Indonesia yang mengalami dampak dari pandemi COVID-19. Netizen memandang pembelajaran online selama pandemi COVID-19 terbagi menjadi dua kluster besar yaitu sebagai suatu hal yang memiliki sentimen positif dan negatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui, menggambarkan, dan menganalisis faktor yang berkait dengan sikap, perhatian, tindakan, kemampuan, penampilan, dan tanggung jawab dari petugas pelayanan KTP-el. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi foto. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sikap, perhatian, tindakan, penampilan, dan tanggung jawab sebagai petugas pemberi pelayanan masih belum mendukung pada pelayanan prima. Adapun dari sisi kemampuan untuk melayani secara prima sudah dimiliki oleh petugas pemberi layanan untuk mewujudkan pelayanan prima. This research is intended to identify, describe and analyze factors related to the attitudes, concerns, actions, abilities, appearance and responsibilities of the KTP-el service officers. The method used is a qualitative approach, in which data collection techniques use observation, interviews and photo documentation. The result of the study shows that attitudes, attention, actions, appearance and responsibilities as service providers still do not support excellent service. As for the ability side to serve excellently is already owned by service providers to realize excellent service.

Abstract

One of the focuses of the Sustainable Development Goals is to create decent work and economic growth (Decent Work and Economic Growth), which is to promote sustainable and inclusive economic growth, employment and decent work for all. One of the big challenges for the Indonesian people is the burden of unemployment as a result of the narrowing of job opportunities. Concrete efforts are needed so that the number of unemployed can be reduced, one of which is through increasing the number of entrepreneurs in Indonesia. However, the data shows that almost 90% of startups in Indonesia end up in failure due to low financial literacy which has an impact on poor financial behavior. This study was conducted to examine the effect of financial literacy on business sustainability with financial behavior as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive verification method. The analysis technique that will be used is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis with the help of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The research respondents were young entrepreneurs from the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) students represented by UPI students who are members of the Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia (HIPMI) PT UPI with a total of 96 respondents. The results show that the type of mediation that occurs in this study is "Perfect Mediation" where the relationship between the variables of Financial Literacy and Business Sustainability is not directly significant, while the relationship between Financial Literacy and Business Sustainability variables with the mediation of Financial Behavior variables is significant. The findings of this study are expected to be able to provide recommendations regarding the development of financial inclusion policies, especially for the younger generation, education to improve financial literacy and policies in providing stimulus for young entrepreneurs to be able to maintain their business sustainability with a financial approach.

Abstract

Tingkat persaingan yang semakin ketat antar sekolah swasta mengharuskan setiap sekolah melakukan optimalisasi media promosi demi mempertahankan eksistensinya. Betapapun bagusnya suatu sekolah apabila tidak dipromosikan dengan maksimal akan berdampak pada minimnya jumlah peserta didik dan tidak dikenalnya sekolah tersebut di kalangan masyarakat. Seiring dengan adanya dampak pandemi Covid-19, menyebabkan perubahan perilaku dengan lebih banyaknya penggunaan teknologi digital dalam segala bidang, termasuk bidang pendidikan. Sekolah-sekolah swasta di bawah naungan Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979 membutuhkan media promosi yang dapat menarik peserta didik baru melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital, salah satunya melalui pengembangan desain dan konten marketing berbentuk media komunikasi visual. Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah membuat media komunikasi visual yang efektif dan komunikatif untuk mempromosikan sekolah-sekolah yang ada di Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979, di mana konten yang ada diharapkan dapat meyakinkan calon peserta didik untuk bersekolah di sekolah-sekolah tersebut dan pada akhirnya dapat menambah jumlah peserta didik baru. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahapan, yaitu diawali dengan identifikasi masalah, kegiatan pelatihan, kemudian pembuatan booklet sebagai media yang digunakan sebagai media promosi bagi setiap unit yang berada di lingkungan Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979, yaitu SMP Handayani 1 Banjaran, SMA Handayani 1 Pameungpeuk, SMA Handayani 2 Banjaran dan SMK Handayani Banjaran. Hasil dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah dihasilkannya booklet promosi sekolah yang diharapkan dapat meyakinkan calon peserta didik dan pada akhirnya dapat menambah jumlah peserta didik baru. The increasingly fierce level of competition between private schools, requires each school to optimize promotional media in order to maintain its existence. No matter how good a school is, if it is not promoted optimally, it will have an impact on the minimum number of students and the lack of recognition of the school in the community. Along with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, causing behavioral changes with more use of digital technology in all fields, including education. Private schools under the Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979 need promotional media that can attract new students through the use of digital technology, one of which is through the development of design and marketing content in the form of visual communication media. The purpose of this Community Service is to create an effective and communicative visual communication media to promote the schools in the Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979, where the existing content is expected to convince prospective students to attend these schools, and in the end can increase the number of new students. This Community Service activity was carried out in several stages, starting with problem identification, training activities, then making booklets as the promotional media used for each unit within the Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979, namely SMP Handayani 1 Banjaran, SMA Handayani 1 Pameungpeuk, SMA Handayani 2 Banjaran and SMK Handayani Banjaran. The result of this Community Service activity is the production of school promotion booklets which are expected to convince prospective students and ultimately increase the number of new students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sentimen masyarakat yang diwakili oleh pengguna Twitter terkait industri halal setelah pandemi COVID-19. Metoda yang digunakan adalah Analisis Jaringan Sosial (SNA) dengan menggunakan Drone Emprit. Data diambil dari arsip atau dokumen tertulis, gambar, atau rekaman video yang diproduksi, didistribusikan, dan diterima oleh pengguna media sosial Twitter pada periode Maret 2022 hingga Agustus 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa narasi yang berkembang di masyarakat memiliki sentimen positif terkait industri halal setelah pandemi. Narasi tersebut mencakup kebangkitan industri halal dan ajakan untuk menggunakan produk halal yang memiliki sertifikat halal dari MUI yang berasal dari akun-akun pemerintah dan influencer. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa akun yang mengekspresikan keprihatinan mereka terhadap perkembangan industri halal yang kurang pesat di Indonesia, meskipun mayoritas penduduknya adalah Muslim. This study aims to look at public sentiment represented by Twitter users related to the halal industry after the Covid 19 pandemic. halal industry after the covid 19 pandemic. Data was collected using Drone Emprit Academic, which is in the form of archives or written documents, images, or video recordings produced, distributed, and responded to by Twitter social media users from March 2022 to August 2022. The results showed that the narratives that developed in the community had positive sentiments. The developing narrative related to the topic of the halal industry in the post-pandemic period is the stretching of the halal industry as well as appeals and invitations to use halal products that have certificates from MUI from government accounts and other influencers. In addition, there are still accounts that are concerned about the slow development of the halal industry in Indonesia, where the majority of the population is Muslim.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam menciptakan lapangan kerja dan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk mengetahui tren dan perkembangan dalam bidang Entrepreneurship. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan dan tren dalam bidang Entrepreneurship di Indonesia menggunakan pendekatan bibliometrik. Analisis bibliometrik menyediakan gambaran umum tentang perkembangan dalam bidang ilmu pengetahuan dan memungkinkan identifikasi tren, topik populer, dan kolaborasi ilmiah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis bibliometrik VOSviewer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah publikasi dalam bidang Entrepreneurship di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun. Topik populer dalam bidang Entrepreneurship di Indonesia adalah Entrepreneurship sosial, Entrepreneurship pemula, dan Entrepreneurship inovatif. Selain itu, juga ditemukan bahwa kolaborasi ilmiah dalam bidang Entrepreneurship di Indonesia cukup tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk mengembangkan program Entrepreneurship di Indonesia dan untuk meningkatkan kolaborasi ilmiah dalam bidang Entrepreneurship.     ABSTRACTEntrepreneurship is an important factor in job creation and economic growth. Therefore, it is important to know the trends and developments in the field of entrepreneurship. This research aims to analyze developments and trends in entrepreneurship in Indonesia using a bibliometric approach. Bibliometric analysis provides an overview of developments in the field of science and enables the identification of trends, popular topics, and scientific collaborations. The method used in this research is VOSviewer bibliometric analysis. The results showed that the number of publications in the field of entrepreneurship in Indonesia has increased from year to year. Popular topics in the field of entrepreneurship in Indonesia are social entrepreneurship, start-up entrepreneurship, and innovative entrepreneurship. In addition, it is also found that scientific collaboration in the field of entrepreneurship in Indonesia is quite high. The results of this study can be used as a basis to develop entrepreneurship programs in Indonesia and to increase scientific collaboration in the field of entrepreneurship.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the perspectives of users of Bus Trans Metro Pasundan regarding the government program "Buy the Service," which aims to provide reliable, safe, comfortable, and affordable public transportation. Employing the Rasch model approach, the research involved 30 respondents who utilize the bus service to identify the factors influencing the success of the "Buy the Service" program from the users' standpoint. The collected data provided profound insights into the users' perspectives on the Bus Trans Metro Pasundan service, indicating that the public is not accustomed to the concept of dependency on public transportation and feels that their expectations regarding the facilities have not been fully met. Overall, the findings of this study offer a credible and accurate basis for expanding perspectives and enhancing the success of the "Buy the Service" program in sustainable management. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perspektif pengguna Bus Trans Metro Pasundan terhadap program pemerintah "Buy the Service" yang bertujuan untuk menyediakan angkutan umum yang andal, aman, nyaman, dan terjangkau. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan model Rasch, penelitian ini melibatkan 30 responden yang menggunakan layanan bus tersebut untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan program, termasuk ketergantungan masyarakat, kebijakan pemerintah, dan efektivitas program. Data yang dikumpulkan memberikan wawasan mendalam mengenai perspektif pengguna terhadap layanan Bus Trans Metro Pasundan, dan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat belum terbiasa dengan konsep ketergantungan pada moda transportasi umum dan merasa belum terpenuhi harapannya terhadap fasilitas yang ada. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan dasar yang kredibel dan akurat untuk memperluas perspektif dan meningkatkan keberhasilan program "Buy the Service" dalam pengelolaan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

After the government failed to release updated data on the handling of COVID-19, the status of the pandemic in Indonesia has been declared to have ended and transitioned into an endemic disease. This policy has received various responses from the public, including the tourism sector. Therefore, the objective of this research is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the public perception regarding the issue of tourism during the endemic period by examining how people communicate through social media, particularly Twitter. The research method employed is the collection of Twitter conversations from February 2nd, 2023, at 12:00 PM WIB until March 30th, 2023, at 11:59 PM WIB using the DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) system through Twitter's API (Application Programming Interface). The research findings indicate that out of a total of 1823 analyzed tweets, 77% of them demonstrate a positive sentiment towards tourism, while 17% or 394 tweets exhibit a negative sentiment, and only 6% or 140 tweets show a neutral sentiment. These findings present opportunities for the West Java provincial government to utilize Twitter as a valuable source of information for decision-making and policy evaluation during the endemic period.
