Abstract

Pada zaman ini pembelajaran IPS sangat diperlukan untuk membentuk karakter generasi muda. Generasi muda adalah ujung tombak masa depan suatu negara, sehingga mereka harus memiliki karakter dalam kehidupan di masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pembentukan karakter peserta didik melalui pembelajaran IPS di kelas V SD. Hal beretika, beragama, bermoral, beradab, dan sopan santun dalam berinteraksi dengan masyarakat, maka pendidikan harus direncanakan dan dilaksanakan dengan membentuk karakter sesuai dengan nilai nilai karakter budaya bangsa khususnya dalam pembelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini berasal dari guru, siswa maupun orang tua. Hasil penelitian ini berupa deskripsi analitik, yaitu uraian naratif mengenai suatu proses tingkah laku subjek sesuai dengan masalah yang diteliti. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa pembentukan karakter peserta didik melalui pembelajaran IPS di kelas V SD, dilakukan oleh guru dengan menanamkan nilai nilai karakter melalui pembiasaan dan keteladanan pada peserta didik dalam berperilaku dikehidupan sehari hari.

Abstract

Earthquakes are a natural phenomenon that often occurs in Indonesia due to the interaction of tectonic plates. Indonesia's geography, which meets four of the world's tectonic plates, makes it prone to earthquakes. Preparedness in dealing with disasters is important, especially in schools as education and awareness centers. Children, as rapid learners, can be agents of change in shaping hazard awareness and disaster preparedness. This study aims to understand the opinions of the PMI Jumbara committee about disaster preparedness, describe the definition of disaster preparedness, and analyze factors related to earthquakes. Through a qualitative approach and interviews with five members of PMI's Jumbara committee, the results highlight actions to be taken during and after the earthquake, explain the factors that cause earthquakes, and strengthen the urgency of preparedness in facing disasters in Indonesia. In conclusion, preparedness and understanding of the right action during an earthquake are important in reducing the adverse effects of natural disasters.

Abstract

The history of Islamic culture is a very important lesson for us to learn to know the historical values and developments about Islam. Besides that, learning to ski is useful for forming the personality traits of the people to be even better than the exemplary journey of previous figures or generations. In general, the reality is that Islamic Cultural History lessons are less attractive to students. We conducted research at a private Madrasah Aliyah Al-Manar Medan Johor regarding the learning process, obstacle, obstacle solution to learn Islamic Cultural History. The method we use is a descriptive qualitative method. The objects we examined were students and teachers at the school. From the research results we obtained the implementation of SKI learnimg has been going well in accordance with the contents of lesson plan made by the SKI teacher and the obstacle that occur during the ski learning process namely students feel bored while studying, the class atmosphere is not conducive, students do not do their homework, students are sleepy in class, and students are lazy to study.Besides that, the teacher's efforts in these problems are by inviting refreshing by standing and shaking hands, inviting learning outside the classroom, giving directions to students to be quiet and listening to their reasons first if they don't do homework and advising not to repeat it, creating learning readiness, motivating students, creating harmony with students, provide guidance to students.
