Abstract

Women who had menopause experience several physical and psychological changes, changes that occur such as painful intercourse, vaginal dryness and painful urination. Apart from that, changes occur in the skin such as dry and thinning skin and calcium levels decreasing by 35-45%, psychological disorders such as anxiety, irritability, depression and insomnia by 50%, libido decreases by 30%. The aim of the research is to determine the factors that influence women's anxiety levels in facing menopause in the Kuta Baro Aceh Besar Health Center Work Area.This research method uses a cross sectional approach with a population of 1,235 people and a sample size of 93 women aged 45-59 year, the sampling technique is Stratified Random Sampling. For the anxiety variable, the DASS-21 instrument was used and the knowledge variable used a Likert scale questionnaire. The results of univariate analysis showed that of the 93 respondents, the majority experienced anxiety in the mild category, 43.0%, had low knowledge about menopause, 63.4% and 36.6% had high knowledge, 40.9% had secondary education and were in early adulthood. as much as 54.8%. The results of bivariate analysis using the chi-square test showed that there was a relationship between knowledge (p=0.002), education (p=0.004) and age (p=0.003) on anxiety in facing menopause. It is hoped that nurses at Community Health Centers will provide education for women who will and are facing menopause, so that they can increase women's knowledge and readiness to face menopause

Abstract

Background: As the most common disease to be diagnosed, breast cancer now surpasses lung cancer in frequency and disrupts a patient's life in many ways. Chemotherapy is one of the treatments that people with breast cancer receive. Patients who get this medication may encounter side effects, chief among them being weariness, which is the most prevalent issue and significantly impairs normal function in breast cancer patients. Fatigue is caused by a variety of circumstances, including its accompanying symptoms. The purpose of this research was to ascertain how fatigue and concomitant symptoms related to breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy were related. Materials and procedures: Purposive sampling was employed to choose 153 breast cancer patients who were receiving chemotherapy for this cross-sectional study design. The Cancer Fatigue Scale and questionnaires were utilized for data collection

Abstract

Mother's milk (ASI) is rich in nutrients and is the key to baby's health. Breast milk is the best food that babies aged 0-6 months need for optimal growth and development, increasing body resistance, protecting against infection, forming a healthy digestive system and increasing intelligence. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between family support and smooth breastfeeding for breastfeeding mothers in the Kuta Baro Aceh Besar Community Health Center working area. This research is quantitative with an analytical design using a cross-sectional study method. The population in this study were all breastfeeding mothers who had babies aged 0-6 months, totaling 139 people, using a sampling technique, namely proportional random sampling, of 58 people. Data analysis used chi square with the research results showing that there was a relationship between family support and smooth breastfeeding with a value of p = 0.011. It is hoped that respondents can use this as input to increase knowledge, understanding and information regarding family support which influences the smooth flow of breastfeeding.

Insulin is a hormone that helps control sugar levels in the body. Purpose of service: Providing health education about diabetes mellitus to the community. Method: The method used in this service activity is lecture and question and answer. Results: Shows that counseling can increase each individual's knowledge. Pretest 48% and Posttest 78%. Conclusion: By providing health education to the public, knowledge can be increased and have an impact on improving the level of public health
