Abstract

Masigit Kareumbi Hunting Park (MKHP) as one of the 14 hunting parks exist in Indonesia has a prospective future. The potency of biophysic area which cover the area, accessibility, topography and vegetation condition can prospectively be exerted. In the other side, there is a tendency to exert hunting sport either for domestic hunters or foreigen hunters is a good chance for MKHP improvement. This research is aimed at analyzing economic prospect of MKHP exertion through the calculation of Net Present Value (NPV), Benefits Cost Ratio (BCR) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). MKHP area has a natural power of attraction like flora, fauna, ecosystem or natural phenomenon to be developed through hunting activity, natural tourism, cultures, research, science and embrio supply for cultivation. Based on the analisys, the main activity for improving MKHP is by setting the plan, enclave relocation, infra structure establishment and the other things which support it. Besides to fulfill the conservation function, the preservation of habitat and population must be greatly paid attention. Two options are done to analyze this, that is through (1) exerting MKHP in the aspect of hunting and ecotourism, and (2) exerting MKHP in the aspect special hunting. The financial analysis shows that the MKHP exertion with the price $ 1.500 and $ 750 for deer and $ 150 and $ 100 for pig (trophy and non trophy) in the rate of 9% from hunting and ecotourism it gains NPV Rp 50.160.631.000,00 and BCR 1,677 (with breeding). But the exertion without breeding it gains NPV Rp 24.955.315.000,00 and BCR 1,476. The exertion through both scenarios is reasonable to do. The exertion from special hunting with breeding scenario is obtained NPV Rp 36.896.371.000,00 and BCR 1,548. The MKHP exertion through the special hunting without breeding result NPV Rp 19.2933690.000,00 and BCR 1,386. This means the exertion is acceptable.Keyword : Activity development, cost, benefits, opportunity, resources potency

Abstract

Biomass of timber post forest harvest (natural forest or made man forest0 that available at the felling site is one of natural sources which have a volume still potentially. These materials can be use for energy sources or fulfil of additional materials for pulp and paper industries or another product as availability of volume, type and seize of biomass which usually called as wastes. This potency can be obtained from plantation forest and or natural forest especially on conversion forest production in the form of wastes of bucking, trimming, main stem, branch and stump. The problem is how to collect it in an effective and efficient way. The availability of wood wastes among other due to other function has high condition, particularly for plywood and timber construction as well. For example the length of wood to short, to small of diameter, many defect, decay and holes or bending. Other form are stump and roots, branches and to many bandings. Mostly all of wood wastes are used for layer when equipment wills passing that rows. Similar thing can also obtain from limb trees hit by tree which is cut, hit on skidding operation and road construction.

Abstract

Jamboree Campsite Cibubur (BUPERTA) is located on the outskirts of Cibubur City which provides good suitable for birds. This study aims to study the diversity of bird species and identify habitat characteristics. Methods used are counting method, MacKinnon type list, habitat profile creation and interview. Shannon-Wiener's diversity index is obtained with a value of 2.921in the high category of it in a region. Number of bird species recorded as many as 22 species of birds. Category of easy type meeting types such as types of coconut honey, bondol java, bird church, cucak kutilang. The use of some types of tree strata such as feeding location, playground or chatting with each other and resting location, but not always the birds use only one type of habitat but there are some birds that use some habitat type in their daily activities. is carried out to see how vegetation shape and environmental conditions become the observation plot. The result vegetation analysis was obtained the identified tree level is 9 species. This refers to the background of the urban forest area that was once a rubber plantation. Level of dominance type rubber (Hevea brasiliensis) amounted to 14 individuals. The Import Value Index (INP) of vegetation analysis for plant type pole level with highest INP value is rubber of 54.08%, while the second highest pole is eboni (Diospyros celebica) of 48.13%.
