Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas merupakan salah satu bentuk penelitian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Didalam penelitian tindakan kelas guru berperan subagai peneliti itu sendiri karena guru dipandang sebagai orang yang paling tahu mengenai permaslahan yang terjadi didalam kelas yang dapat menghambat tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran secara optimal. Melalui penelitian kelas guru merumuskan masalah apa saja yang terjadi didalam kelas untuk kemudian dicari strategi pembelajaran alternatif sebagai upaya untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut. Mengingat pentingnya penelitian tindakan kelas, maka seorang guru wajib untuk memiliki kemampuan melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun proposal, melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas dan melaporkannya. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan ini dapat menumbuhkan minat guru untuk melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas sehingga diharapkan dapat menjadikan budaya meneliti lebih melekat pada diri seorang guru.

Abstract

This study reveals the comparison of the TPACK profiles of pre-service elementary school teachers in the Earth and Space Science (ESS) offline and online lectures. The sample consisted of 97 students who took offline lectures in the 2018/2019 academic year and 85 students who took online lectures in the 2019/2020 academic year. The research instrument consisted of 38 questionnaire items that assessed the self-efficacy of the TPACK-21 components. The correlation analysis results show that in all aspects of basic knowledge and secondary knowledge, ESS online courses provide better results in developing TPACK abilities than offline courses. However, the SEM analysis results show that the structure of the TPACK ability development model in the offline class appears to be more stable than the online class. This indicates a need for further development in online learning strategies and approaches to lead to a more significant contribution to the development of TPACK.

Abstract

One of the goals of the development of the 2013 curriculum is the change of the learning process (from students to be learned to students to find out) by focusing on improving cognitive and skills. The fact shows that the process of physics learning in high school is still not fully in accordance with the principles of applying the curriculum 2013 so that the impact on the low achievement of cognitive abilities and students' science process skills. Based on these problems, a pre-experiment research was conducted using a one-pretest-posttest research design that aims to obtain an overview of cognitive skills improvement and students' science process skills as the impact of integrated learning cycle stages with inquiry labs method in physics learning. The results showed that there was an increase in cognitive abilities and science process skills of students with N-gain of 0.57 and 0.69.

Abstract

This study analyzed the teachers' and parents' synergy in motivating children to take online learning at home during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The research instrument consisted of 13 survey questions distributed via Google Form and succeeded in capturing 139 samples of parents of preschool and elementary school students spread across 17 provinces in Indonesia. Factor analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM) were conducted to analyze the instrument's validity and test hypotheses. The factor analysis results showed that the 13 instruments used showed an excellent correlation to confirm each variable's structure. The SEM analysis results showed that in the online learning system applied to preschool and elementary school children, parents play a significant role in the children's motivation to take online learning at home. Parents were also a positive and significant mediator variable in the teacher's role in increasing children's learning motivation. These results indicated that parents' and teachers' motivating children to carry out online learning at home during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia must be established and continuously improved. The contribution was a reference for those who intend to develop an appropriate online learning system framework for preschool and elementary school children.

Abstract

Students’ skills in performing multiplication operations are low. The purpose of the study in this article is to determine the effect of the game-based learning model assisted by "Bamboozle" on the multiplication skills of the second-grade students at Islamic Elementary School in Al Hidayah in the academic year of 2021/2002. This study used experimental quantitative research with a One Group Pretest Posttest design. This study used a saturated sample as the sampling technique and tests as the data collection method. The results showed that the pre-treatment mean score of 63.33 was lower than the post-treatment mean score of 91.90. By using the Wilcoxon test data analysis method, the values of 21 samples increased from pre-test to post-test with an average increase of 11.00. In addition, by analyzing the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, it could be concluded that there was a significant effect of the game-based learning model assisted by the application of "Bamboozle" on the multiplication operation skills of the second-grade students at SD Islam Al-Hidayah in the academic year 2021/2022.

Abstract

The learning process at SDN Cibuntu 01 which has not used learning models and interactive media makes learning monotonous and conventional. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model assisted by plotagon media on the activeness and learning outcomes of science in fifth grade elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative experimental approach with the Pre-Experiment method and the One Group Pretest Posttest design. By using saturated sampling technique, the research sample was obtained from one research class consisting of 27 students. The instrument in this study was a learning activity observation sheet and a test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice. Based on the results of the analysis of student activity, it was found that tcount (12,913) > ttable (2,064), as well as the results of the analysis of the learning outcomes test obtained tcount (14,736) > ttable (2,064). Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the STAD learning model assisted by plotagon media on the activity and learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of SDN Cibuntu 01.

Abstract

This research sought to determine how parental roles affected children's motivation for online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study employed a quantitative correlational survey as its methodology. The questionnaire was used to collect data for this study. While SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square) analysis is used to test hypotheses, CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) is used to assess validity and reliability. SmartPLS 3.0 software is used to assist in all data processing. The factor analysis results indicated a sufficient correlation between the 30 items of the instruments used to support the structure of each variable. According to the results of the SEM analysis, parents significantly impact their children's desire to learn online at home when it comes to the online learning system utilized by elementary school students. Four indicators measure parents' performance: providing guidance (PG), learning facilities (LF), rewards and praise (RP), and attention and supervision (AS) (AS). The results of this study indicate that parental roles (LF, PG, and RP) affect learning motivation, as indicated by P-values of (0.000 0.05), (0.035 0.05), and (0.006 0.05), respectively. In contrast, US indicators have no effect on parental roles and learning motivation, as indicated by the P-value of (0.879 0.05 In order to improve the home education system while still leaving a positive impression on children, parents' roles must become more child-centered. Due to their rigorous nature, the instrument validity techniques of CFA and the data analysis techniques of SEM enhance the validity and reliability of research findings

Abstract

Based on the identification of the problem, many Indonesian people, especially school children, are still not interested in reading activities. One of the efforts to increase interest in reading promoted by the government is to promote a reading corner program in schools. This study aims to determine the effect of the reading corner program in terms of the quality of the reading corner and the teacher's role in using the reading corner to increase the reading interest of fourth grade elementary school students in the Cijantung-East Jakarta area. By using survey research methods, the research instrument consists of 23 Questionnaire statement items were distributed to 4 schools consisting of 2 public elementary schools and 2 private elementary schools with a total sample of 233 students. Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were performed to analyze instrument validation and test hypotheses. The results of the factor analysis showed that of the 23 instruments tested, there were 6 items that did not meet the requirements because they had an unqualified loading factor so that only 16 statements were used for analysis. The results of the SEM analysis show that the increase in reading interest is not dominantly influenced by the quality of the reading corner itself, but must be accompanied by the role of the teacher. These results indicate that the implementation of the reading corner program in schools is not only physically present but also must be supported by the role of the teacher.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar digital berbasis Google Sites berorientasi kemandirian untuk siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang memiliki 5 tahapan diantaranya: 1) Analyze; 2) Design; 3) Development; 4) Implementation; 5) Evaluation. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV MI Al-Jamhuriyah sebanyak 25 siswa. Intrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa wawancara, angket validasi dan angket respon. Validasi bahan ajar digital berbasis Google Sites dilakukan oleh tim validasi, antara lain: ahli materi, ahli media, ahli pedagogik dan validasi guru. Data kuantitatif pada penelitian ini didapatkan dari hasil validasi dan kuesioner. Bahan ajar digital berbasis Google Sites mendapat kelayakan pada tahap validasi ahli mendapat rata-rata nilai 80% (layak), penilaian guru sebesar 90% (sangat layak), dan penilaian oleh 25 siswa dengan rata-rata sebesar 82% (sangat layak). Maka berdasarkan hasil penilaian tersebut, bahan ajar digital berbasis Google Sites dikategorikan sangat layak.Kata Kunci: Bahan Ajar Digital, Google Sites, Kemandirian ABSTRACTThis study aims to develop self-directed Google Sites-based digital teaching materials for fourth-grade elementary school students. This study uses the R&D (Research and Development) method with the ADDIE model with 5 stages including 1) Analyze; 2) Design; 3) Development; 4) Implementation; 5) Evaluation. The subjects were fourth-grade MI Al-Jamhuriyah students. The research instruments used were interviews, validation questionnaires, and response questionnaires. The validation of the product is carried out by the validation team, including material experts, media experts, pedagogical experts, and teacher validation. Quantitative data were obtained from the results of validation and questionnaires. Digital teaching materials based on Google Sites are eligible at the expert validation stage, getting an average score of 80% (decent), teacher assessments of 90% (very decent), and assessments by 25 students with an average of 82% (very decent). Abstract

The use of the lecture method causes students to be less interested in learning so that student learning outcomes are low. This study aims to find out the effect of applying the Picture and Picture Learning Model assisted by Quizizz on the acquisition of science learning outcomes for fourth grade elementary school students on animal life cycle material. This study applies a quantitative experimental method using a Pretest-Posttest Control Group research design with 20 multiple choice questions as research instruments. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics, normality test with Liliefors test, homogeneity test with Fisher's test, hypothesis testing with t-test, and test effect size. The results of hypothesis testing show that tcount > ttable (4.5233 > 2.0452), then H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an influence from the use of the Picture and Picture Learning Model assisted by Quizizz on the science learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students. Penggunaan metode ceramah menyebabkan siswa kurang tertarik pada saat berlangsungnya pembelajaran sehingga hasil belajar siswa menjadi rendah. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mencari tahu pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan Quizizz terhadap perolehan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD pada materi siklus hidup hewan. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif eksperimen menggunakan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group dengan 20 butir soal pilihan ganda sebagai instrumen penelitian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas dengan uji liliefors, uji homogenitas dengan uji fisher, uji hipotesis dengan uji-t, dan uji effect size. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel (4,5233 > 2,0452), maka H1 diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan Quizizz pada hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD.
