Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan pola sinergitas antara guru dan orang tua dalam integrasi nilia-nilai karakter pada pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kombinasi yang menggabungkan antara penelitian kuantitatif dan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data dengan menggunakan angket dan wawancara. Responden penelitian ini yaitu guru dan orang tua siswa dari tiga Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah, yaitu SD Muhammadiyah Bojonggede Provinsi Jawa Barat, SD Muhammadiyah 24 Rawamangun Provinsi DKI Jakarta, dan SD Muhammadiyah 12 Pamulang Provinsi Banten. Responden berjumlah 25 guru dan 141 orang tua. Angket menggunakan skala likert, dan data yang didapatkan dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan dilanjutkan dengan analisis kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pada indikator pembimbingan karakter, sinergitas guru dan orang tua di tiga sekolah tersebut sudah berjalan baik. Keduanya telah bersama-sama memberikan pembimbingan karakter kepada anak. Sedangkan untuk indikator penilaian karakter dan menjalin komunikasi terdapat perbedaan pola sinergitas antara guru dan orang tua di ketiga sekolah tersebut.  SYNERGY OF TEACHERS AND PARENTS IN INTEGRATION OF CHARACTER VALUES IN ONLINE LEARNING IN THE TIME OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC This study aimed to map the synergy pattern between teachers and parents in the integration of character values in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research used a mixed method that combined quantitative research and qualitative research. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and interviews. Respondents of this study were teachers and parents of students from three Muhammadiyah elementary schools, namely SD Muhammadiyah Bojonggede, West Java Province, SD Muhammadiyah 24 Rawamangun, DKI Jakarta Province, and SD Muhammadiyah 12 Pamulang Banten Province. The respondents were 25 teachers and 141 parents. The questionnaire used the Likert scale, and the data obtained were analyzed using quantitative descriptive followed by qualitative analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was found that for the indicators of character guidance, the synergy of teachers and parents in the three schools had gone well, both of them had jointly provided character guidance to children. However, for the indicators of character assessment and establishing communication (between teacher and parents), there were differences in synergy patterns between the three schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual animaker terhadap motivasi belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN Pekayon 12. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya penelitian sebelumnya yang menunjukkan bahwa sebuah motivasi belajar siswa belum sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Post-Test Only Control Design. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian berjumlah 46 peserta didik yaitu kelas IV B yang berjumlah 23 peserta didik sebagai kelas kontrol dan IV D yang berjumlah 23 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen. Dalam perhitungan data analisis prasyarat penelitian menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas menggunakan uji-f, dan hipotesis uji-t. Hasil perhitungan hipotesis menggunakan Uji-t dinyatakan kedua kelas menunjukkan thitung sebesar 6,514 > ttabel sebesar 1,680. Maka dapat disimpulkan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat dibuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual animaker terhadap motivasi belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN Pekayon 12

Abstract

This study aims to examine whether there is an increased understanding of the concept of shape using Realistic Mathematics Education. This research was conducted in one primary school class II in the academic year 2016/2017. Design Research was chosen as a basis research which included preparation for the experiment, preliminary teaching experiment class which involved 6 students Class IIA to test early Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT), Teaching Experiment class which involved 37 students of Class IIB, and retrospective analysis (data analysis obtained from the previous stage). HLT plays an important role as a research design and instrument. Learning trajectory that has been designed then was compared with the actual student learning in the teaching experiment. The data of the students’ understanding of the concept of shape was obtained by using pre-test, observation, interview, student worksheet and post-test as well as data obtained in the learning process. The results of this study found that there was an increased understanding of the concept of the shape which will be elaborated further in the discussion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar sebagai pendukung tercapainya indikator hasil belajar siswa dan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, dan respon peserta didik terhadap penggunaan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis software liveworksheet pada materi PPKn. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Pada tahap validasi, LKPD ini divalidasi dengan 2 validator yakni 1 validator ahli materi dan 1 validator ahli media. Pada tahap implementasi, LKPD berbasis software liveworksheet diuji pada peserta didik kelas V SDN Kebon Kosong 07 Pagi pada semester genap 2020-2021. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis software liveworksheet layak dengan presentase capaian sebesar 75% menurut ahli media, dan 91,75% menurut ahli materi. Hasil uji coba terhadap peserta didik menunjukkan presentase sebesar 73,52% dengan kriteria baik. Simpulan dari penelitian LKPD berbasis software liveworksheet pada materi PPKn pada subtema “Hak” adalah layak dan menarik untuk digunakan sebagai media evaluasi pembelajaran bagi siswa kelas V.

Abstract

Berdasarkan survei, wawancara dengan  salahsatu guru  peserta MGMP bahwa pembelajaran yang diberikan di kelas tidak pernah mempertimbangkan karakteristik materi biologi sehingga guru cenderung memilih strategi pembelajaran berdasarkan keinginan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan menawarkan pelatihan yang komprehensif agar guru dapat mengintegrasikan pedagogi dan konten sesuai karakteristik materinya dimulai dari pemahaman Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), penggunaan instrument CoRe (Content Representation), penguatan konten biologi. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu,1) Sosialisasi kepada ketua MGMP, 2) pemberian materi tentang PCK,3) Pemberian video coaching pembelajaran biologi 4) penyusunan instrumen CoRe 5) review hasil diskusi instrument CoRe. Dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilakukan dapat diambil kesimpulan sebagai berikut: Materi yang disampaikan yaitu mengenai PCK, penyusunan instrument CoRe, dan model-model pembelajaran biologi yang berpusat pada siswa. Tingkat ketercapaian target kegiatan di lapangan dalam bentuk pengetahuan, dan keterampilan, sudah baik. Kegiatan coaching ini dapat mengatasi permasalahan mitra yaitu dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam mengintegrasikan pengetahuan konten dan pengetahuan pedagogi. Isi materi, penyampaian materi dan coaching dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini sudah baik. Narasumber dan materi yang disajikan juga mendapat respon yang baik dari peserta. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah fasilitas yang kurang memadai dan kurangnya waktu bagi peserta dalam menyusun instrument CoRe.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate primary school students’ mathematical thinking in column calculation and algorithms. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. The participants of this research were twelve Indonesian primary school students at grade 3 and 4 in Ciparay, Bandung, West Java. They worked to solve calculation and algorithm questions developed from TAL TEAM book Freudenthal Institute, Utrecht University, The Netherlands that were classified based on the strategies used. After analyzing their written works, interviews were organized to acquire further information about their mathematical thinking. The study found that students’ strategies in dealing with calculation algorithm consist of three strategies. The first strategy is the splitting strategy from units to tens column and then the interim results are combined. The second strategy is the splitting strategy used from tens to unit column and the interim results are added vertically digit-by-digit. The third strategy is the transition from splitting strategy from units to tens column consists primarily of using abbreviated column calculation for the interim results in each column. In addition, several students made common mistakes due to misconception about algorithm and arithmetical problems. Implication of this research for teaching and learning calculation and algorithms were described elaborately.

Abstract

This study analyzed the teachers' and parents' synergy in motivating children to take online learning at home during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The research instrument consisted of 13 survey questions distributed via Google Form and succeeded in capturing 139 samples of parents of preschool and elementary school students spread across 17 provinces in Indonesia. Factor analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM) were conducted to analyze the instrument's validity and test hypotheses. The factor analysis results showed that the 13 instruments used showed an excellent correlation to confirm each variable's structure. The SEM analysis results showed that in the online learning system applied to preschool and elementary school children, parents play a significant role in the children's motivation to take online learning at home. Parents were also a positive and significant mediator variable in the teacher's role in increasing children's learning motivation. These results indicated that parents' and teachers' motivating children to carry out online learning at home during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia must be established and continuously improved. The contribution was a reference for those who intend to develop an appropriate online learning system framework for preschool and elementary school children.

Abstract

Abstrak Motivasi merupakan dorongan yang mengakibatkan seseorang melakukan tindakan yang dapat berasal dari dalam diri (intrinsik) dan luar/lingkungan (ekstrinsik). Motivasi belajar dapat memengaruhi hasil belajar siswa, baik dari segi kognitif/pengetahuan, minat membaca, persepsi, dan Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengukur effect size artikel penelitian tentang hubungan antara motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa IPA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metaanalisis menggunakan instrumen lembar tabulasi data dan dianalisis menggunakan software openMEE. Artikel yang dipilih berjumlah 20 dengan rentang publikasi tahun 2016-2021. Rata-rata effect size yang diperoleh dari masing-masing artikel adalah tinggi (efek besar) sehingga diinterpretasikan bahwa terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara variabel motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa  IPA. Hasil penelitian dapat memberikan acuan bagi guru bahwa motivasi sangat penting diberikan kepada siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. AbstractMotivation is an impulse that causes a person to take actions that can come from within (intrinsic) and outside/environmentally (extrinsic). Learning motivation can affect student learning outcomes, both in terms of cognitive/knowledge, reading interest, perception, and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge. This research aimed to measure the effect size of research articles on the relationship between motivation and learning outcomes of science students. The type of research used was meta-analysis using data tabulation sheet instruments and analyzed using openMEE software. The selected articles were 20 with a publication range of 2016-2021. The average effect size obtained from each article was high (large effect) so it is interpreted that there was a significant correlation between motivational variables and science student learning outcomes. The results of the research can provide a reference for teachers that motivation is very important given to students during the learning process.

Abstract

Latar belakang pendidikan orang tua menjadi tolak ukur keberhasilan siswa disekolah, semakin tinggi pendidikan orang tua maka keberhasilan siswa juga akan semakin tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latar belakang pendidikan orang tua terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV MI Nurul Huda Kapuk. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode penelitian survey. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling jenis sampel jenuh. Peneliti memperoleh sampel yang diambil adalah kelas IV-A sebanyak 33 peserta didik. Uji validitas menggunakan rumus product moment. Pada soal kuesioner terdapat 25 soal valid dari 30 soal yang telah diujikan. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus alpha cronbach dan diperoleh ri > rtabel (0,928 > 0,396), sehingga instrumen dikatakan reliabel. Penelitian ini tidak mengunakan uji prasyarat analisis karena data yang diperoleh berbentuk nominal dan analisis katagorisasi, sehingga perhitungan data termasuk menggunakan statistika nonparametris dengan Uji Chi-Kuadrat. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji chi-kuadrat dan didapatkan nilai X2hitung < X2tabel (1,273 < 5,991), maka Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak. Dengan demikian, maka hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh latar belakang pendidikan orang tua terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV MI Nurul Huda Kapuk.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the quality, feasibility, and response of educators and students to the Storyline Articulated by interactive learning media based on digital literacy. The study was conducted in the even semester academic year of 2021/2022 at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 12 Cibubur. This research used the ADDIE model's research and development methods (Research and Development). Data from interviews and evaluations in the form of criticism and ideas were used in this research instrument. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques used data based on numbers such as questionnaires and validations. The validation test results by two validators, namely the media expert validator, obtained a percentage value of 72% in the interpretation into the feasible category, and the material expert validator obtained an average percentage value of 80% with a very feasible category. Educators' response to learning media obtained a score of 90% with a very decent category. Based on the research data, interactive learning media for digital Literacy-Based Articulation Storylines in class IV social studies learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 12 Cibubur is suitable for learning activities.
