Abstract

Terdapat empat fungsi komunikasi adalah (1) menginformasikan (to inform): Yaitu memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat, memberitahukan kepada masyarakat mengenai peristiwa yang terjadi, ide atau pikiran dan tingkah laku orang lain, serta segala sesuatu yang disampaikan orang lain. (2) Mendidik (to educate) yaitu: fungsi komunikasi sebagai sarana pendidikan. Melalui komunikasi, manusia dalam masyarakat dapat menyampaikan ide dan pikirannya kepada orang lain sehingga orang lain mendapatkan informasi dan ilmu pengetahuan. (3) Menghibur (to entertain) yaitu: Fungsi komunikasi selain menyampaikan pendidikan dan mempengaruhi, komunikasi juga berfungsi untuk memberi hiburan atau menghibur orang lain. (4) Mempengaruhi (to influence) yaitu: fungsi mempengaruhi setiap individu yang berkomunikasi, tentunya berusaha saling mempengaruhi jalan pikiran komunikan dan lebih jauh lagi berusaha merubah sikap dan tingkah laku komunikan sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, watching television is an alternative choice for entertainment at home. Because activities outside the home are limited. One of the entertainments that are requested by women is television films or soap operas completed in one run. The television film that has the highest rating is "Voice of the Wife's Heart" which is currently airing on the Indosiar television station. Housewives or career women who work at home (work from home) really like the one-off soap opera, Suara Hati Istri (SHI). Stories that contain the concerns of women, especially housewives, have managed to attract attention, so the show has a high rating. Television films or so-called soap operas, which air every day on the Indosiar television station, raise conflicts and problems in the household. The specific purpose of this research is to see how the preventive pattern of housewives in preventing anxiety as a result of watching television movies. In determining the sample, which is used in this study is "Multistage Random Sampling". The sample selection technique uses the Slovin formula approach. The number of samples in this study was 400 people. The subject of this study involved housewives who had watched soap operas the voice of their wives' hearts for the past 1 year. The results showed that the preventive pattern of housewives in preventing anxiety as a result of watching television can be seen from several aspects. First, the participation of children in watching this program, children are not allowed to watch. This can result in children being able to imitate scenes both messages and behavior seen on the Suara Hati Istri FTV program, both contents were delivered by the actor on the Suara Hati Istri FTV broadcast. This can have a negative effect on family life. This requires educational education in preventing anxiety caused by broadcast programs.

Abstract

Whatsapp is a cross-platform messaging application that allows us to exchange messages without SMS fees, because WhatsApp uses the same internet data package for email, web browsing, and more. The WhatsApp application reportedly has improved the security system of applications that are end to end encryption (E2EE). This proves that the WhatsApp manager paid considerable attention to privacy and security issues for its users. In addition, it also implies an important matter where business actors have begun to realize that the application of cryptographic services is part of a very promising business strategy or even determines the present and future consequences. The consequence of implementing E2EE is the description encryption process that takes place at the application layer (OSI layer). Cryptography is a study that studies methods to send messages in secret (that is, encrypted or disguised) so that only the intended recipient of the message can decode and read the message. For this reason, cirptography is one method that can implement E2EE on whatsapp. One Time Pad (OTP) is a type of symmetry algorithm, each key is only used for one message. If the key is random (cannot be reproduced) and only used once, then the algorithm is perfectly safe. The MAC (Message Authentication Code) is an identifier to prove the authenticity of a document obtained by using meaningless messages obtained from processing some of the contents of the document using a private key.

Abstract

Era revolusi indutri 4.0 memiliki dampak pada dunia pendidikan, yang dikenal dengan pembelajaran abad 21, yaitu pembelajaran berbasis teknologi atau disebut dengan ICT (Information and Communication Technology). Diperparah lagi dengan terjadinya pandemi COVID 19, yang mengharuskan kegiatan proses belajar dan mengajar dilakukan dari rumah. Sehingga peran ICT sebagai sumber belajar menjadi sangat penting. Sekolah Muhammadiyah di Kota Binjai mengalami dampak yang sama.Tujuan umum dari kegiatan pengadian ini adalah untuk memaksimalkan kemampuan dan keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan Google Workspace for Education. Sedangkan tujuan khususnya adalah guru mampu menerapkan Google Worrkspace for Education pembelajaran.Pengabdian akan dilaksanakan di sekolah mitra yaitu di Sekolah Muhammadiyah Kota Binjai di Jl Perintis Kemerdekaan No. 122, Kel. Pahlawan, Kec. Binjai Utara, Kota Binjai. Metode kegiatan pengabdian adalah dengan melaksanakan workshop kepada mitra. Pelaksanaan pengabdian diawali dengan membuat media pembelajaran daring kemudian penerapan Google Workspace For Education. Dengan kegiatan workshop diharapkan mitra dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di Sekolah Muhammadiyah Kota Binjai menerapkan Google Workspace for Education.

Abstract

ABSTRACTCommunication used by everyone, wherever and anytime. In addition, communication can be conducted in an organization, both in organization to an enterprise, the government and forth. In an organization people will communicate. As leaders of communication, communication leaders on the community and other. Communication important to a organization because communication is instrumental for members of an organization to can work together in doing activity of management, which is to reach organizational goals that went forth before. Research is called communication organization in raise awareness of the community towards village development aimed at to see how communication organization in raise awareness of the community towards village development to villagers / nagori kampung Lalang of subdistrict Ujung Padang  of the District Simalungun. The kind of research used in this research is research deskriftif with a qualitative approach was adopted. The source of information as many as 10 ( ten ) the. The source of information having a profusion of being divergent as the head of the village, village officials, teachers, tens of thousands of workers, from self employed, and farmers. Engineering data collection was to interview and analyzing through three rounds, the reduction of data, data, and withdrawal conclusions and verification. The result of this research organization is communication the village in building public awareness of rural development is good. The community has been having awareness of the building village.
