Abstract

AbstrakTelevisi merupakan media massa yang banyak dimanfaatkan oleh orangtua dan anak dalammemperoleh beragam informasi dan hiburan, namun tanpa memahami struktur pengetahuan danketerampilan dalam literasi media maka orangtua akan kesulitan dalam memberikan informasiyang seimbang pada saat mendampingi anak menonton televisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmenjelaskan struktur pengetahuan literasi media yang dipahami oleh orangtua dan menjelaskanketerampilan (skills) literasi media yang sebaiknya dimiliki oleh orangtua pada saat mendampingianak menonton televisi di SD Islam Al Ullum Terpadu Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodepenelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu mendeskripsikan pendapat objek yang diteliti berdasarkanfakta yang ada di lapangan mengenai literasi media dalam keluarga sebagai proses pendampinganpada saat menonton televisi pada anak di SD Islam Al Ulum Terpadu Medan. Subjek dalampenelitian ini adalah keluarga. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasilpenelitian menyebutkan bahwa struktur pengetahuan yang dipahami oleh orangtua meliputipengetahuan isi pesan, pengetahuan industri media, dan pengetahuan efek media. Sedangkanketerampilan literasi media yang dimiliki orangtua sebaiknya meliputi analisis, evaluasi,pengelompokan, induksi, deduksi, sintesis, dan abstraksi. Namun pengetahuan dan keterampilanliterasi media yang dimiliki oleh orangtua masih berada pada proses pemahaman saja, sehinggapada saaat mendampingi anak menonton televisi orangtua hanya memberikan informasisekedarnya.Kata Kunci: Literasi Media, Pendampingan menonton televisi, Keluarga

Abstract

This study aims to determine the communication strategy and communicationstrategy barriers used by the North Sumatra Education Quality Assurance Institute as one of the government agencies domiciled in each province and responsible for implementing quality assurance as an extension of the central government in the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System to meet and improve the quality of education. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 4 Tanjung Morawa and SMP Negeri 2 Pancur Batu, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. The data is collected through interviews, observations and analyzed using descriptive analysis methods with a qualitative approach. This study uses Harold Lasswell?s Communication Theory. The result showed that the communication strategy of the North Sumatra Education Quality Assurance Institute takes the form of coordination meetings, technical guidance, assistance, monitoring and evaluation. Obstacles that arise in carrying out the communication strategy are the ability to operate technology, the location of the implementation of technical guidance and power outages (technical barriers); the large number of unfamiliar terms in the delivery of material makes it difficult for participants to understand the material (semantic barriers); and the lack of willingness of the school or the Education Quality Assurance Team to change (behavioral barriers).

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, watching television is an alternative choice for entertainment at home. Because activities outside the home are limited. One of the entertainments that are requested by women is television films or soap operas completed in one run. The television film that has the highest rating is "Voice of the Wife's Heart" which is currently airing on the Indosiar television station. Housewives or career women who work at home (work from home) really like the one-off soap opera, Suara Hati Istri (SHI). Stories that contain the concerns of women, especially housewives, have managed to attract attention, so the show has a high rating. Television films or so-called soap operas, which air every day on the Indosiar television station, raise conflicts and problems in the household. The specific purpose of this research is to see how the preventive pattern of housewives in preventing anxiety as a result of watching television movies. In determining the sample, which is used in this study is "Multistage Random Sampling". The sample selection technique uses the Slovin formula approach. The number of samples in this study was 400 people. The subject of this study involved housewives who had watched soap operas the voice of their wives' hearts for the past 1 year. The results showed that the preventive pattern of housewives in preventing anxiety as a result of watching television can be seen from several aspects. First, the participation of children in watching this program, children are not allowed to watch. This can result in children being able to imitate scenes both messages and behavior seen on the Suara Hati Istri FTV program, both contents were delivered by the actor on the Suara Hati Istri FTV broadcast. This can have a negative effect on family life. This requires educational education in preventing anxiety caused by broadcast programs.

It is no wonder if our society today cannot be separated by the presence of communications media technology, Use of Internet technology in the print rnedia industry in the era of media convergence, on the one hand, is expected to increase the number of readers of var'iety of products produced by the company news print rnedia, On the other hand, it can also be counterproductive, that is rnost likely to trigger 2 drastic drop in circulation of various print media. Because many people think prefer to consume online media or digital paper (e-paper) which is ifree' and can be accessed frorn any location and at any time, rather than having to consurne print media should pay the subscription or Or retail costs. There is a change shift in the consumption pattern of print media readers. Accordingto McCluail mass media is the rnain power center point of overiap and influence ie between technology„ economics and politics, One strategy to stimulate grovvth of the print media - the advertising and circulation should start from a clear mapping of the print rnedia market potentiat in indonesia.

Abstract

ABSTRAKOrganisasi adalah wadah sekelompok orang untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Untuk mencapai tujuan bersama itu diperlukan adanya pembagian tugas dan tanggung jawab. Tugas dan tanggung jawab dikoordinir dalam satu sistem manajemen. Sistem manajemen mengatur alur pesan dalam organisasi. Alur pesan ini dikenal sebagai komunikasi organisasi. Pucuk pimpinan organisasi disebut manajer/pemimpin. Keberhasilan komunikasi organisasi sangat ditentukan oleh pimpinan organisasi. Pada organisasi militer, pimpinan disebut dengan istilah Komandan. Komandan berperan dalam menciptakan iklim komunikasi organisasi. Iklim komunikasi organisasi yang sehat akan menghasilkan keputusan yang tepat. Proses pengambilan keputusan organisasi militer, diatur dalam ‘Prosedur Hubungan Komandan dan Staf’. Prosedur ini berisi rangkaian kegiatan unsur-unsur organisasi yang secara tegas mengatur’ Siapa berbuat Apa’. Kemampuan mengambil keputusan adalah kunci keberhasilan. Kemampuan itu dilandasi oleh karakter, syarat dan prinsip kepemimpinan. Pengalaman penugasan Tour of Duty dan Tour of Area menjadi modal dasar dalam memimpin. Iklim komunikasi organisasi sepadan dengan kepemimpinan, yaitu ’Ilmu dan seni’ untuk memenangkan pertempuran. Iklim komunikasi dalam organisasi TNI-AD, sangat ditentukan oleh Komandannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana iklim komunikasi yang terjalin dalam organisasi Batalyon Infanteri Raider 100 Kodam I/Bukit Barisan. Penelitian ini membahas Prosedur Hubungan Komandan dan Staf, dengan menggunakan teori manajemen klasik dengan prinsip-prinsip: Kesatuan komando, rantai skalar, divisi pekerjaan, tanggung jawab dan otoritas dan disiplin, serta mengebawahkan kepentingan individu dari kepentingan umum. Selain teori tersebut, penelitian ini juga berdasarkan teori Sosial tentang kepemimpinan. Kedua teori ini sangat relevan dengan organisasi militer yang bersifat terbuka. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari satu orang Komandan tertinggi dalam organisasi tersebut dan tujuh orang staf serta empat orang Komandan bawahan selaku pelaksana keputusan organisasi. Hasil penelitian ini, dapat diketahui bahwa dalam organisasi militer terdapat iklim komunikasi yang sehat, selama mekanisme kerja yang ada dilaksanakan dengan penuh tanggung jawab.Kata kunci: iklim komunikasi, komandan, komunikasi organisasi.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the phenomenon of self-disclosure and determine the type of self-disclosure of female Instagram celebrities in Medan as popular culture on Instagram social media. This research uses Self Disclosure Theory and New Media Theory. This research method with qualitative approach. This research uses in-depth interview and observation data collection techniques. Informants in this study were five female Instagram celebrities in Medan, who were selected according to the criteria of the research informant until the information was at its saturation point. The results obtained from this study are female Instagram celebrities in Medan discovering a new perspective on themselves by opening themselves up through the Insta Story feature on Instagram social media, self-disclosure is a job desk for Instagram female Instagram celebrities in Medan, they have pioneered in the trend of opening themselves through the Instagram insta story feature, they are making the pioneers as an example and reference for acting on Instagram social media. The female Instagram celebrities in Medan more often share daily moments than their opinions on updating issues. The moment is about their work or college, a moment of social activity, a moment of hangout, and a vacation moment.

Abstract

The aim of  this paper  is to analyze  the impact  of diversity in information  society as consumers. The society we currently live in is an information society, because our economy primarily depends on the production and consumption of information. Today the media are changing our  world in  many ways,  in the  rise of  the internet,  the integration of communication technologies, shifting media empires, new lifestyles, challenging career, changing regulations, shifting social issues and a new dynamic of power in society. The source of the dynamic of social change, the diversity impact and what are seen as epochal and global transformations in the structure of the economy, in social stratification, politics and culture is a technological paradigm based upon a cluster of innovation in information and technological paradigm. The transition to an information society is driven in part by rapid changes in technology such as computer and digital television. We should no longer think about the various media of communication as completely distinct entities. Why do the media exist? Do the media shape culture or does culture shape the media? Information technology and media are converging in the information society. Technological change is increasingly shaking up conventional media and now the ‘old’ mass media are responding with the innovation of their own. When new media enter our homes, media consumption patterns tend to change. In one survey of Pew Research Center, a quarter of Internet users said they watched television less since going online. Consumer’s differences improve or affect the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) among socially inclusive communities.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSaat ini Indonesia dikenal memiliki luas perkebunan kelapa terbesar di dunia yakni 3,712 juta Ha. Dari potensi produksi sebesar 15 milyar butir pertahun hanya dimanfaatkan sebesar 7,5 milyar butir pertahun atau sekitar 50% dari potensi produksi. Masih banyak potensi kelapa yang belum dimanfaatkan karena berbagai kendala terutama teknologi, permodalan, dan daya serap pasar yang belum merata. Berdasarkan kondisi geografis kota Tanjung Balai yang merupakan wilayah pesisir, Industri kreatif berbasis pengelolahan buah kelapa banyak dilakukan oleh masyarakat kota Tanjung Balai untuk memanfaatkan bahan baku yang berasal dari alam (natural resources), yaitu memanfaatkan hasil pertanian untuk dijadikan berbagai bentuk kerajinan, bahan masakan dan makanan khas. Industri kreatif atau disebut juga ekonomi kreatif adalah kegiatan ekonomi untuk menghasilkan ide atau gagasan. Gagasan itu sendiri, bahwa manusia mampu menciptakan sesuatu sudah ada sejak zaman purbakala sampai era modern. Saat ini pemahaman proses kreatif itu bertumbuh dan berkembang di dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat dan mengambil peran dalam perekonomian negara. Oleh karena itu industri kreatif masih potensial untuk digarap, dan Indonesia kaya akan budaya serta tradisi yang bisa menjadi sumber kreativitas. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui komunikasi pemasaran pabrik pengelolaan koncek kelapa PT. Kilang Minyak Sejati dan UD. Berkat dan bagaimana implementasi integrasi kegiatan komunikasi pemasaran dan relationship marketing yang dapat membangun hubungan yang kuat antara pelaku industri kreatif pengelolaan koncek buah kelapa pada masyarakat Kota Tanjung Balai dengan pihak-pihak terkait. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara dengan para pelaku industri kreatif berbasis pengelolaan buah kelapa dan dokumentasi.Kata kunci: komunikasi pemasaran, relationship marketing, industri kreatif, sumber daya alam, buah kelapa
