Abstract

Aktivitas logistik memegang peranan penting dalam proses bisnis dimana terdapat proses distribusi untuk menyalurkan produk dari produsen/penjual kepada konsumen. Saat inibermunculan semakin banyak perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penyediaan pelayanan jasa logistik, dengan berbagai kelebihan dan kekurangannya. Kondisi ini membuat pengguna jasa lebih leluasa dalam menentukan pilihan, perusahaan kurir mana yang dipercaya untuk mengambil alih sebagian fungsi bisnisnya.Untuk membantu pengambilan keputusan dalam pemilihan penyedia jasa kurir, penulis melakukan penelitian mengenai kriteria yang digunakan pengguna jasa dalam menentukan penyedia jasa terbaik. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), metode AHP dipilih karena metode ini dapat membuat sebuah kerangka pengambilan keputusan dengan efektif atas persoalan yang kompleks. Permasalahan yang terdiri atas beberapa pertimbangan, kemudian disederhanakan ke dalam beberapa kriteria yang kemudian disusunan dalam suatu hirarki.Setelah disusun dalam hierarki dapatditentukan criteria terpenting yang menjadi pertimbangan utama pengguna jasa. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada perusahaanpenyedia jasa logistik yang bergerak pada jasa pengiriman ekspres (kurir). Reponden dibatasi pada pengguna yang menggunakan jasa pengantaran barang (kurir) untuk keperluan penjualan online. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kriteria utama yang diprioritaskan sebagai pertimbangan bagi pengguna jasa dalam pemilihan penyedia jasa logistik. Berdasarkan survey yang dilakukan terhadap para penjual online, diketahui bahwa kriteria yang menjadi pertimbangan utama dalam pemilihan jasa kurir adalah Reliability, yaitu keandalan suatu perusahaan jasa kurirdalam melayani kebutuhan dan keinginan pelanggannya diikuti dengan cost (biaya pengiriman) dan Convinience (kenyamanan).

Abstract

Lot sizing problem in production planning aims to optimize production costs (processing, setup and holding cost) by fulfilling demand and resources capacity costraint. The Capacitated Lot sizing Problem (CLSP) model aims to balance the setup costs and inventory costs to obtain optimal total costs. The object of this study was a plastic component manufacturing company. This study use CLSP model, considering process costs, holding costs and setup costs, by calculating product cycle and setup time. The constraint of this model is the production time capacity and the storage capacity of the finished product. CLSP can reduce the total production cost by 4.05% and can reduce setup time by 46.75%. Keyword: Lot size, CLSP, Total production cost.

Abstract

High fluctuating demand at companies encourages to perform inventory control. This study aims to determine the exact inventory control method for the company, which minimizes the inventory cost and inventory amount provided by the company. This research analyzes various aspects related to the system and inventory cost used by the company. This research uses probabilistic inventory methods, which are probabilistic controls, P models, and Q models. Based on data processing, P model provides an optimal solution. P system provides cost and amount of optimal safety stock compared to other inventory models.

Abstract

Biaya transportasi merupakan komponen biaya terbesar dalam aktivitas distribusi, Upaya penurunan biaya transportasi dapat dilakukan dengan memperbaiki rute distribusi produk ke pelanggan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk meminimasi total biaya transportasi dengan menentukan penugasan dan penentuan rute kendaraan heterogen. Batasan yang dipertimbangkan adalah jumlah dan kapasitas kendaraan, konsumsi bahan bakar, waktu layanan di perusahaan dan pelanggan. Biaya transportasi yang dipertimbangkan adalah biaya tetap kendaraan, bahan bakar, dan penanganan material. Metode CVRPTW diterapkan pada masalah penugasan dan penentuan rute kendaraan pada perusahaan komponen plastik yang memasok komponen plastik untuk bahan baku produksi berbagai perusahaan manufaktur di wilayah Jabodetabek. CVRPTW dapat menurunkan biaya transportasi di perusahaan dengan tetap memenuhi seluruh batasan yang berlaku. CVRPTW mengurangi jumlah kendaraan yang digunakan dari sebelumnya 6 kendaraan, menjadi 5 kendaraan. Total biaya transportasi untuk seluruh rute pengiriman sebesar Rp. 4.563.620. Biaya ini lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan biaya perusahaan senilai Rp. 4.694.100. Penugasan dan penentuan rute ini menurunkan biaya transportasi sebesar Rp. 400.480, atau sebesar 8% dari biaya awal

Abstract

Indonesia’s geographical conditions, particularly in the eastern region, which is archipelago has its own challenges in the distribution of commodities, such as rice. Most of the rice needed in eastern Indonesia, is still supplied from Java Island. The most suitable transportation mode for rice distribution in the eastern region of Indonesia, is by sea (ships). In this study, a ship routing and scheduling model for commodity distribution in the eastern region of Indonesia was developed, using capacitated vehicle routing problem (CVRP) method. The model was built by considering the number of demands on the destination, ship capacity, and ports service time. Modeling was developed to determine distribution route and schedule that can provide total minimum cost and meet all of the restrictions.

Abstract

Determination of inventory of raw materials and components is needed to support the smoothness of the production process. Inventory management is done, in order to determine optimum inventory level, order lot size and reorder time that can minimize total inventory cost. This research applies some method in dynamic deterministic inventory model by comparing those method based on the lowest inventory total cost. This model solved basic inventory management problems, which are; the amount of goods to be ordered for each time the order made , when the order need to be made (r) and safety stock level. Based on this research, it is known that company may decrease its inventory cost by implementing suggested inventory method

Abstract

The transportation problem is one of the fundamental problems in distribution network to minimize transportation costs by considering resource constraints and meeting the customer demand. This study aims to minimize distribution costs of a distribution networks of soft drink company using the Mix Integer Linear Programming (MILP). This optimization method considers transportation costs, material handling and transportation costs. The addition of a distribution center (DC) as a consolidation center of goods sent to retailers makes the distribution process more efficient. Facility and material handling costs in DC, can be compensated with lower transportation costs. The suggested network can reduce distribution costs by 15.29% compared to the existing methods.

Abstract

Logistics activity plays an important role in the business process where there is a distribution process to deliver product from the manufacturer / seller to the consumer. Nowadays there are many companies that provide logistics services with its own advantages and disadvantages. This condition, gives users more flexibility in determining which courier companies they will use. IN ordr to aid decision makers in selecting the best courier services providers, we conducted a study regarding the criteria used in determining user’s choice by using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The purpose of this study was to determine the main criteria as user’s consideration for selecting the best logistics service providers. Based on a survey conducted on the online sellers, it is known that the criteria of the key considerations in selecting a courier service is Reliability, the reliability of a courier company in serving the needs and desires of its customers, followed by cost and convenience
