<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengkaji kemampuan siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 13 Banda Aceh menyusun teks cerita fabel berdasarkan strukturnya. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasinya berjumlah 144 orang dan sampel yang diambil sebanyak 35 orang siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 13 Banda Aceh. Pengumpulan datanya menggunakan teknik tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor yang diperoleh siswa dari keseluruhan aspek adalah 100. Skor ini berada pada rentang nilai 85-100 yang merupakan rentang nilai kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian setiap aspek menunjukkan bahwasanya aspek struktur bagian orientasi memperoleh nilai rata-rata 94. Skor ini berada pada rentang nilai 85-100 kategori sangat baik. Struktur bagian komplikasi memperoleh nilai rata-rata 84. Skor ini berada pada rentang nilai 70-84 kategori baik. Struktur bagian resolusi memperoleh nilai rata-rata 87. Skor ini berada pada rentang nilai 85-100 kategori sangat baik. Struktur bagian koda memperoleh nilai rata-rata 85.
