Abstract

This research aims at increasing the student naration writing ability at the first semester of Indonesian and Literature Study Program at STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggaunarration at Indonesian Departemen Program. This method used in this research is Clasroom Action Research with learning development and inovation at LPTK (PPKP). This research begins with planning, action, observation, and reflection. The result shows that learning narative writing ability is increasing. The result of the preaction tes shows that there were 10 student or (32,25%) wot got ≥ 6,6 and there were 21 student or (68,74%) who got ≤ 6,6 the average score 48,20. At the and of cycle I, there were 18 student or (58,06%) who got ≥ 6,6 and there were 13 student or (41,93%) who got ≤ 6,6. Whereas, the average score of cycle I WAS 65,50. At the and of cycle II, there are 28 students (90,32%) who got ≥ 6,6 with the average score 78,02. Therefore, the student narration writing ability whith ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Confidance, Satisfaction).
