Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh diklat berbasis lesson study terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru Sains SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja dan dampaknya terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah guru sains SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja yang berjumlah 6 orang, dan siswa kelas VIII pada tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 78 orang. Untuk penilaian kompetensi pedagogik guru dilakukan tes pada subyek penelitian baik sebelum maupun sesudah pelaksanaan lesson study, sedangkan prestasi belajar siswa dilihat dari nilai hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Sains. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji t dan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Kualitas pelaksanaan lesson study pada guru sains di SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 berkualifikasi sangat baik dengan rata – rata skor 93,09. 2) Berdasarkan uji Wilcoxon terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pelaksanaan diklat berbasis lesson study terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru Sains SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja. 3) Diklat berbasis lesson study secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar Sains siswa SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja.Kata Kunci : lesson study, kompetensi pedagogik, prestasi belajar siswa. This study is aimed at describing the influence of teacher training based on the lesson study towards the improvement of pedagogical competence of science teachers and the influence achievement of students learning at SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja. The sample of study was taken out of those from class VIII and six of science teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja. The number of students involved was’ 78 students who were taken from the learning period in the year of 2013/2014. The evaluation of pedagogical competence of the teachers was done by giving them test concerning the subject of study both before and after the lesson study was carried out. The result of the students learning achievement was seen from the marks of their achievement test on the science subjects. The data of the study was analyzed using descriptive statistic, paired sample t-test and wilcoxon signed-rank test. The result of study indicated that : 1) the quality average of lesson study which was done in SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja is 93,09 which is categorized as excallent. 2) based on Wilcoxon sign – rank there was significant improvement of their pedagogical competence in science especially those teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja who were being trained, 3) there was significant influence of the student's achievement in science after the training based on the lesson study being held at SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja.keyword : lesson study, pedagogical competence, students learning achievement
