Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of Job Design and Communication on EmployeePerformance in the Department of Education, Youth, and Sports Mamuju Regency together orpartially and to find out variables that significantly influence employee performance. Theindependent variable used in this study is Job Design (X1), Communication (X2). While thedependent variable is employee performance (Y). The research method used in this study is aquantitative research method using a sample of 95 respondents. Sampling using Censustechniques. Data analysis methods used in this study are descriptive analysis methods andmultiple linear regression analysis. Data processing is performed using SPSS 20 for Windowscomputer software.F test results in this study indicate the value of sig F is 0,000 <0.005 which means that JobDesign and Communication together have a significant influence on employee performance.This shows that job design is the most dominant factor influencing employee performance. It isevident from the research that has been done that shows the beta value for each independentvariable is obtained value, namely for the job design factor (X1) of 1.065 and the beta value forcommunication factors (X2) of 0.843. This means that the job design factor (X1) is moredominant than the communication factor (X2) on employee performance. Based on theinterpretation of the results of data analysis it is known that the hypothesis stating job designis the most dominant factor influencing the performance of employees in the education, youth,and sports services in Mamuju Regency.Keywords: Job Design, Communication, and Employee Performance
