PENGEMBANGAN LKS BERBASIS REPRESENTASI KIMIA PADA MATERI LARUTAN ELEKTROLIT DAN NONELEKTROLIT

Abstract

This research aimed to develop students worksheets based on the chemical representation about electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions. This research used the Research and Development method. The subject of  this research was students worksheets based on the chemical representation of  electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions, it was represented by three levels of chemical representation, they are macroscopic, sub microscopic, and symbolic.  Students worksheets was measured by three aspects include content suitability, readability, and attractiveness. The results showed that students worksheets was suitable with content and SK-KD.  According to teacher responses, students worksheets based on the chemical representation had very high content suitability (98%).  Level of the attractiveness and readability according to the teacher was very high; 86.15% and 92% respectively.Similarly with the students responses of  attractiveness and readability level was very high; 86.06% and 88.27% respectively.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS berbasis representasi kimia pada materi larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Research and Development).  Subyek penelitian ini adalah LKS berbasis representasi kimia pada materi larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit, yang disajikan melalui tiga level representasi kimia yaitu makroskopis, sub mikroskopis, dan simbolik.  LKS yang di kembangkan dinilai melalui tiga aspek, yaitu kesesuaian isi, keterbacaan, dan kemenarikan.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS berbasis representasi kimia pada materi larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi aspek kesesuaian yang meliputi kesesuaian terhadap materi dan SK-KD serta dapat diukur melalui indikator-indikator yang telah dikembangkan.  Berdasarkan tanggapan dari guru, LKS berbasis representasi kimia ini memiliki tingkat kese-suaian isi yang sangat tinggi (98%).  Tingkat kemenarikan dan keterbacaan LKS menurut guru berkriteria sangat tinggi  masing-masing sebesar 86,15% dan 92%.  Begitupula menurut siswa, tingkat kemenarikan dan keterbacaan LKS yang telah dikembangkan termasuk dalam kriteria yang sangat tinggi masing-masing sebesar  86,06% dan 88,27%.Kata kunci:  larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit, LKS, representasi kimia
