PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN METODE PROYEK TERHADAP PENGEMBANGAN KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL KONSEP BILANGAN ANAK

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the influence of project method towards children ability to know the concept of number. The research method was used Pre-Experimental by One Group Pretest-Posttest design. Research was conducted in Citra Melati kindergarten. The samples were 21 children in B class by using purposive sampling technique that took children aged 5 until 6 years and have low ability in knowing the concept of number. Data were collected by using observation and documentation. Data were analyzed by using statistic non parametric with Wilcoxon Test. The result showed that project methode have a significance influence towards children ability to know the concept of number. This was proved by the average of pretest and posttest value that equal to 51,85%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode proyek terhadap pengembangan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Eksperimental dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Tempat penelitian yang dilaksanakan di TK Citra Melati pada tanggal 28 Februari sampai 09 Maret 2017. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 21 anak. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan pertimbangan tertentu yaitu anak yang berusia 5-6 tahun dan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan rendah. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan statistic non parametrik dengan Uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian didapatkan peningkatan antara rata-rata nilai pretest dan posttest sebesar 51,85%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan metode proyek terhadap pengembangan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan anak.Kata kunci: anak usia dini, konsep bilangan, metode proyek
