ABSTRAK Adanya bakteri yang resisten terhadap antibakteri mendorong pentingnya penggalian sumber obat-obatan anitimikroba dari bahan alam. Salah satu tumbuhan alami yang mulai dikembangkan yaitu daun belimbing wuluh. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri kombinasi ekstrak etanol daun belimbing wuluh dengan amoksisilin terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus. Penelitian yang dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif Uji perbandingan aktivitas antibakteri menggunakan metode difusi sumuran dengan konsentrasi ekstrak etanol daun belimbing wuluh sebesar 100 mg/mL, 50 mg/mL dan kombinasi ekstrak etanol daun belimbing wuluh dengan amoksisilin 1% sebesar 100 mg/mL dan 50 mg/mL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol daun belimbing wuluh kombinasi dengan amoksisilin memiliki aktivitas daya hambat terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dengan konsentrasi 100 mg/mL, 50 mg/mL, 100 mg/mL kombinasi amoksisilin 1%, 50 mg/mL kombinasi Amoksisilin 1% dengan rata-rata diameter zona hambat berturut-turut sebesar 9,24 mm, 8,22 mm, 6,40 mm dan 5,55 mm. Pada kombinasi ektrak daun belimbing wuluh dan amoksisilin berefek tidak sinergis. One of the natural plants that began to be developed is the leaves of starfruit. The purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterial activity of a combination of ethanol extract of starfruit leaves with amoxicillin on the growth of bacteria Staphylococcus aureus. The research was carried out by a descriptive method. The comparative test of antibacterial activity using well diffusion method with 100 mg / mL, 50 mg / mL concentration of ethanol extract of starfruit leaves and a combination of ethanol extract of starfruit leaves with 1% amoxicillin by 100 mg / mL and 50 mg / mL. The results showed that the ethanol extract of Averrhoa bilimbi L leaves combined with amoxicillin had inhibitory activity on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria with a concentration of 100 mg / mL, 50 mg / mL, 100 mg / mL of 1% amoxicillin combination, 50 mg / mL of 1% Amoxicillin combination with the average diameter of the inhibitory zone of 9.24 mm, 8.22 mm, 6.40 mm and 5.55 mm, respectively.
