Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap formulasi ritme lagu pada buku ajar Suzuki ViolinMethod Vol 1. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian theoretical dan analytical. Kajian theoreticalmenitikberatkan pada setiap objek yang berhubungan dengan struktur elemen musik, yakni ritmepada lagu-lagu yang terdapat pada buku Suzuki Violin Method Vol. 1. Sementara kajian analyticalfokus pada objek ritme sebagai usaha merekonstruksi mengapa dan bagaimana Shinichi Suzukimemilih dan menggunakan lagu-lagu yang terdapat pada buku Suzuki Violin Method Vol. 1 sebagaimateri ajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ritme pada buku Suzuki Violin Method Vol. 1cenderung menggunakan keteraturan struktur ritme yang proporsional dan simetris.Kata kunci: formulasi, Suzuki, ritme, simetris, proporsionalANALYSIS OF SONG RHYTHM FORMULATION IN SUZUKI VIOLIN METHOD VOL. The theoretical study focuseson each object associated with the structure of musical elements, in this case the rhythm of thesongs contained in the book Suzuki Violin Method Vol. 1. While analytical studies focus onrhythm objects as an effort to reconstruct why and how Shinichi Suzuki chooses and uses songscontained in the Suzuki Violin Method Vol. 1 as teaching material. The findings show that therhythm in the book Suzuki Violin Method Vol. 1 tends to use a proportional and symmetricalrhythm structure regularity.Keywords: formulation, Suzuki, rhythm, symmetrical, proportional
