<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine the water quality in the floating net cage area in the cultivation of tilapia (Oreochromis nilocitus) and to find out how the condition of the waters in Pematang Limau could support the cultivation activities. Â This research was conducted using 3 (three) stations. Water quality data collection was carried out 3 times. The data used included primary and secondary data. Parameters observed in situ included temperature, brightness, current velocity and pH. Ammonia, DO and BOD were analyzed at the Calibration and Health Laboratory of Central Kalimantan in Palangka Raya. Research resulted showed that the overall water quality in the floating net cage area can still be used to maintain tilapia culture. The water quality at each station showed a value that can still be used for cultivation activities except for BOD value that was high.]]>
