Abstract

Abstrak :Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan deskripsi kepada praktisi pendidikan, orang tua, dan pemerhati pendidikan anak usia dini dan semua stakeholders mengenai pandangan Ivan Illich tentang deschooling yang diharapkan dapat diadaptasi untuk mengubah pandangan tentang belajar pada siswa terutama dalam menstimulasi perkembangan anak usia dini. Tulisan ini juga mendeskripsikan tentang learning loss yang terjadi pada masa pandemi covid-19 pada siswa terutama pada anak usia dini karena kurangnya kompetensi orang tua saat membimbing anak belajar di rumah yang menyebabkan stimulasi pada anak usia dini kurang optimal. Dengan demikian, kreativitas guru PAUD, kemauan orang tua untuk terus menemukan metode yang sesuai dalam membimbing dan mendampingi anak dalam menstimulasi perkembangan di rumah, diharapkan mampu mengatasi situasi belajar di masa pandemi covid-19 ini. Kata kunci: deschooling; learning loss; belajar di rumah; pandemi covid-19; anak usia dini Abstract : This paper aims to provide a description to education practitioners, parents, and observers of early childhood education and all stakeholders regarding Ivan Illich's views on deschooling which are expected to be adapted to change views about learning in students, especially in stimulating early childhood development. This paper also describes the learning loss that occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic in students, especially in early childhood due to the lack of parental competence when guiding children to study at home which causes less optimal stimulation in early childhood. Thus, the creativity of early childhood education teachers, the willingness of parents to continue to find appropriate methods in guiding and accompanying children in stimulating development at home, expected to be able to learn situation during the covid-19 pandemic. Keywords: deschooling; learning loss; study at home; pandemic covid-19; early childhood
