Background: The problem of waste in urban areas is never ending. The high population density makes people's consumption high. On the other hand, land to accommodate the remaining consumption is limited. The problem is increasing. It turns out that many urban residents' consumptions waste is not easily biodegradable, especially plastic. The accumulation of plastic waste causes serious pollution. Methods: This research is quantitative research with a descriptive design. Collecting data using questionnaires and conducting field observations. The purpose of the study was to find out the description of Green Product Knowledge for visitors at the Makassar City Fresh Market. The research location is a one-stop snack center (pujasera) Pasar Fresh Makassar City. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling until a sample of 116 samples was found. Processing and analyzing data using the SPSS program and presenting data in the form of a frequency distribution. Research results: The results showed that the respondents' Green Product Knowledge for visitors at the Makassar Fresh Market Pujasera in 2021 was classified as lacking. Conclusion and Suggestion: People should be more careful in consuming packaged food or drinks that are good for the environment and food and beverage producers should be able to make changes by using environmentally friendly packaging.
