This study was aimed to assess the effect of cooperative learning model of complex instruction type towards geography learning outcomes of second grade of social-sciene students at SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung. The research used quasi experimental methods. The population were all students of second grade of social-sciene students and the sample were XI IPS 2 and XI IPS 3. The technique used in this research were observation, documentation, and testing. The data analysis technique used in this research was the simple linear regression analysis. The results shows that there was an influence of cooperative learning model of complex instruction type towards geography learning outcomes of second grade social-science students of SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung, for XI IPS 2 the increase is 8.513%, and XI IPS 3 the increase is 8.481%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe complex instruction terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian menggunakan metode ekperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI dengan sampel siswa kelas XI IPS 2 dan siswa kelas XI IPS 3. Teknik yang digunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe complex instruction terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung yaitu kelas XI IPS 2 dengan peningkatan sebesar 8,513 %, dan kelas XI IPS 3 dengan peningkatan sebesar 8,481 %.Kata Kunci: complex instruction, hasil belajar geografi, dan pembelajaran kooperatif
