Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kompensasi dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini melibatkan 82 pegawai Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada seluruh responden. Data dalam penelitian ini diuji melalui beberapa tahapan analisis seperti uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji heteroskedastisitas. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode regresi berganda dengan bantuan alat SPSS dan melakukan uji koefisien determinasi, uji simultan, dan uji parsial. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial dan simultan variabel kompensasi dan kompetensi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Melalui pengujian koefisien korelasi (R), diperoleh informasi bahwa variabel kompensasi merupakan faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi kinerja Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Abstract This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of compensation and competence on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat Office of South Sulawesi Province. This study involved 82 employees of the Regional Secretariat Office of South Sulawesi Province. Data collection in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires to all respondents. The data in this study were tested through several stages of analysis such as validity test, reliability test, normality test, heteroscedasticity test. Hypothesis testing is done using the multiple regression method with the help of the SPSS tool and performs the coefficient of determination test, simultaneous test, and partial test. The results of data analysis show that partially and simultaneously, compensation and competence variables affect employee performance at the Regional Secretariat Office of South Sulawesi Province. Through testing the correlation coefficient (R), information is obtained that the compensation variable is the most dominant factor influencing the performance of the Regional Secretariat Office of South Sulawesi Province.
