<![CDATA[AbstractMaintenance is an activity that is needed to maintain the quality of maintenance of a facility so that it can work properly. The facilities referred to here are not only facilities such as production machines that require maintenance but also other facilities such as compressors, generators, diesel, turbines, and other factory utilities. One type of compressor used in PT. Perta Arun Gas is a centrifugal compressor with the code K-6801 B. In its operation, the compressor experiences problems such as decreased discharge pressure, excessive vibration, compressor temperature that exceeds tolerance, and noise which indicates damage to the compressor so that it requires maintenance. The purpose of this study was to plan the maintenance of a centrifugal compressor at PT. Perta Arun Gas. The method used in this research is to check the compressor so that several problems are found, namely damage and leakage on the mechanical seal, surface roughness and wear on the journal bearing, there are many scratches on the thrust bearing. These problems are treated based on the type of Breakdown Maintenance with replacement of damaged components and Preventive Maintenance, namely periodic maintenance of compressor components on a daily, monthly and yearly basis. Fasilitas yang dimaksud disini, tidak hanya fasilitas seperti mesin–mesin produksi saja yang memerlukan perawatan tetapi juga fasilitas lain seperti kompresor, generator, diesel, turbin, dan utilitas pabrik lainnya. Salah satu jenis kompresor yang digunakan di PT. Perta Arun Gas adalah kompresor sentrifugal dengan kode K-6801 B. Dalam pengoperasiannya kompresor tersebut mendapatkan kendala-kendala yang dialami seperti menurunnya discharge pressure, vibrasi berlebihan, temperatur kompresor yang naik melebihi toleransi, dan noise yang menunjukan adanya indikasi kerusakan pada kompresor tersebut sehingga memerlukan perawatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merencanakan perawatan kompresor sentrifugal pada PT. Perta Arun Gas. Metode yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah melakukan identifikasi kerusakan pada kompresor sehingga ditemukan beberapa permasalahan yaitu kerusakan dan kebocoran pada mechanical seal, kekasaran permukaan dan aus pada journal bearing, terdapat banyak goresan pada thrust bearing. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut dilakukan perawatan jenis Breakdown Maintenance (Perawatan saat terjadi kerusakan) dengan pergantian komponen yang rusak dan Preventive Maintenance (Perawatan Pencegahan) yaitu perawatan secara berkala terhadap komponen-komponen kompresor baik secara harian, bulanan dan tahunan.
