PENGARUH MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE NUMBER HEAD TOGETHER TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of cooperative learning model Number Head Together to the results of students' mathematics learning. This research used pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The samples of the research were students of class VA and VB which selected from highgrade classes popula­tion by purposive sampling. The data used in this research was quantitative data in form  pretest-posttest value data which converted into gain scores.The result of the research and data analysis N-Gain shows the average N-gain of the class which used cooperative learning model Number Head Together higher than the average N-gain of the class which used a conventional learning model. It can be concluded that the learning model Number Head Together (NHT) positive effect of increasing mathematics learning result of students of SD Negeri 2 Kampung Baru Bandarlampung.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh modelpembelajaran koope­ratif tipe Number Head Together(NHT) terhadap hasilbelajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pretest-posttestnon-equivalen control group de­sign.Sampel pe­ne­litian adalah siswa kelas VA dan VB  yang dipilih dari popu­la­si kelas ting­gi yang terdiri dari enam kelas seca­ra purpo­sive sampling.Data penelitian yang digunakan yaitu data kuanti­tatif  be­rupa data ni­laipretest-posttest yang diubah ke dalam bentuk skor gain. Hasil penelitian dan analisis data N-Gain me­­nun­jukkan rata-rataN-gain kelas yang menggunakan model pembe­lajaran koopera­tif  tipe Num­ber Head Together lebih tinggi dari  rata-rataN-gain kelas yang mengguna­kan model pembelajaran kon­ven­sional. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa mo­del pembe­lajaran Num­ber Head Together (NHT) berpengaruh positif  terhadap peningkatan hasilbelajar matema­tika siswa SD Negeri 2 Kampung Baru Bandarlampung.Kata kunci: hasil belajar matematika, model konvensional, model pembelajaran NHT.
