The findings showed that language learning through games can increase the activity of listening to stories and listening skills of students. It can be seen from the average percentage of students in the first cycle activity of 57.76%, 64.59% second cycle and third cycle of 90.06%. Increase from cycle I to cycle II of 6.83% and of the second cycle to cycle III was 25.47%. Results of students' skills in listening to stories using language games. First cycle of 60.86, the second cycle of 82.61, and the third cycle of 100. Resulting in an increase from cycle I to cycle II is 21.75 and from cycle II to cycle III 17.39.Based on the findings, suggested the Indonesian subject teachers should be able to apply a contextual approach in learning to listen to the story in order to increase students' activities and skills.Keywords: activities, language games, stories listening skills.
