ANALISIS ISI BERITA PERTANIAN DI MAJALAH TRUBUS SELAMA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract

Media massa berperan penting dalam menyebarkan informasi. Perbaikan dan pembangunan masyarakat dipengaruhi oleh keberhasilan penerimaan informasi yang diinduksikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan isi berita pertanian yang bersumber dari perguruan tinggi dan non perguruan tinggi ditinjau dari jumlah item berita, frekuensi berita, volume berita, topik berita, bentuk berita dan posisi berita. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan November 2021 — Februari 2022. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode analisis isi kuantitatif. Objek penelitian berupa media cetak majalah Trubus dengan sampel dipilih secara purposive yakni Majalah Trubus edisi April 2020 — Maret 2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah item berita dari perguruan tinggi sebanyak 126 artikel sedangkan sumber non perguruan tinggi sebanyak 542 artikel. Sumber perguruan tinggi yang paling banyak muncul berasal dari dosen sedangkan sumber non perguruan tinggi berasal dari perusahaan swasta. Volume berita yang bersumber dari perguruan tinggi seluas 76.165 cmK sedangkan dari non perguruan tinggi seluas 415.836,29 cmK. Topik yang bersumber dari perguruan tinggi didomminasi berita lain-lain, teknologi inovasi dan hama penyakit sedangkan topik non perguruan tinggi didominasi berita lain-lain, dan pemasaran. Bentuk berita dari perguruan tinggi didominasi interpretative news sedangkan non perguruan tinggi didominasi opinion news. Letak berita dari perguruan tinggi didominasi posisi fullpage dan atas, sedangkan non perguruan tinggi di posisi fullpage dan tengah. Terdapat perbedaan isi berita pertanian antara perguruan tinggi dan non perguruan tinggi berdasarkan pengkategorian jumlah item, frekuensi, volume, topik, bentuk maupun posisi. Kata kunci: analisis isi, majalah, pertanian, trubus  Abstract: The mass media has an important role in disseminating information, the progress and development of society is influenced by the success of receiving induced information. This study aims to analyze the differences in the content of agricultural news sourced from college and non- college in terms of the number of news items, frequency, volume, topic, form, and position. The research was conducted from November 2021 to February 2022. The data analysis method used was content analysis with a quantitative approach. The object of research is the mass media magazine of Trubus editorial with a purposive sample, that is Trubus Magazine April 2020 — March 2021 edition. The results show that news items from college are 126 articles while non-college sources are 542 articles. Sources from college mostly published from lecturers while non-college comes from private companies. The volume of news sourced from college is 76,165 cmK, while the volume for non-college is 415,836.29 cmK. Topics originating from universities are dominated by other news, technological innovations, as well as pests and diseases, while non-college topics are dominated by other news, marketing. The form of news sourced from universities is dominated by interpretive news, while non-college news sources are dominated by opinion news. News from college is in full-page and top positions, while non-college positions are in full-page and middle positions. Cumulatively, there are differences in agricultural news content between college and non-college based on the categorization of the number of items, frequency, volume, topic, form, and position. Keywords: agriculture, content analyze, magazine, trubus
