PENGARUH MEDIA VIDEO ANIMASI PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of animated video media on natural science subjects to improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design, the experiment that conducted by two groups or two classes, consists of experimental class and control class. This research was conducted in 5 th grade SD Negeri 006 Balai Jaya. The results showed that the average score of the learning outcomes test given pre-treatment (pretest) in experimental class was 39,54 ; while the average score of the learning outcomes test given final treatment (posttest) was 81,93. The hypothesis test showed the probability sig (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,005, then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It indicates that there’s an effect of using animated video media on natural science subjects in 5th grade SD Negeri 006 Balai Jaya between given pre-treatment (pretest) and given final treatment (posttest). In conclusion, using animated video media on natural science subjects can improve the student’s learning outcomes in 5th grade SD Negeri 006 Balai Jaya for the 2021/2022 academic year.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media video animasi pada mata pelajaran IPA untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Exsperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design, yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap dua kelas, yakni kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 006 Balai Jaya kelas V. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa rata-rata skor tes hasil belajar sebelum diberi perlakuan (pretest) pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 39.54, sedangkan rata-rata skor tes hasil belajar setelah diberi perlakuan (posttest) sebesar 81.93. Serta hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan hasil sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 yang mana 0.000 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh dalam penggunaan media video animasi pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas V SD Negeri 006 Balai Jaya antara sebelum diberi perlakuan (pretest) dan sesudah diberi perlakuan (posttest). Sehingga adanya pengaruh media video animasi pada mata pelajaran IPA untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar kelas V SD Negeri 006 Balai Jaya tahun ajaran 2021/2022
