<![CDATA[Kesehatan gigi dan mulut bagian fundamental kesehatan berpengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan secara keseluruhan. Kondisi ini berdampak pada masalah kesehatan anak, karena dapat mengganggu kosentrasi proses belajar anak, mempengaruhi nafsu makan, sehingga dapat menggangu pertumbuhan yang pada akan berdampak status gizi anak yang terimplikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada anak usia sekolah di MIN 26 Aceh Besar Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada tanggal 6 s/d 7 Juni 2022. Populasi dalam penelitian ini anak kelas IV, V dan VI yang berjumlah 111 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 53 orang. Pengumpulan data mengggunakan data primer. Analisis menggunakan chi square test. Hasil penelitian diperoleh terdapat hubungan menyikat gigi (p=0,000), frekuensi menyikat gigi (p=0,023), jenis makanan (p=0,000) dan motivasi anak (p=0,005) dengan kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Diharapkan kepada pihak sekolah untuk dapat bekerja sama dengan instansi kesehatan setempat dalam hal ini pihak Puskesmas untuk melakukana penyuluhan kesehatan gigi dan mulut dengan metode yang sesuai dengan anak sehingga informasi yang disaampaikana lebih mudah diserap sehingga diharapkan dapat terjadi perubahan perilakuKata Kunci: Menyikat Gigi, Frekuensi Menyikat Gigi, Jenis Makanan, Motivasi Anak, Kesehatan Gigi dan MulutDental and oral health is a fundamental part of health and affects overall well-being. This study aims to determine the factors associated with dental and oral health in school-age children at MIN 26 Aceh Besar. This type of research is analytic with a cross sectional study approach. Data collection was carried out on 6 to 7 June 2022. The population in this study was children in grades IV, V and VI, totaling 111 people, the sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample of 53 people. Data collection using primary data. The results showed that there was a relationship between brushing teeth (p=0.000), frequency of brushing teeth (p=0.023), type of food (p=0.000) and children's motivation (p=0.005) with dental and oral health.
