<![CDATA[Abstract This research aims to explain the relationship between achievement motivation and creative thinking ability with the skills of writing fantasy story texts for seventh-grade students of MTSN 13 Jakarta. The researcher conducted the research with research subjects, namely class VII I MTSN 13 Jakarta, with a total of 32 students. This research is a quantitative research using the correlation method. The research problems are 1) is there a positive relationship between students' achievement motivation (X1) and writing fantasy story text skills (Y); 2) is there a positive relationship between creative thinking ability (X2) and fantasy story writing skills (Y); 3) is there a positive relationship between students' achievement motivation (X1) and creative thinking ability (X2) together with writing fantasy story text skills (Y). The results of the study can be described as follows: 1) there is a positive relationship between students' achievement motivation (X1) and writing text fantasy story skills (Y). This statement can be seen from the significance level of 0.05; it is obtained that the t count is 5.122 > t table is 1.697. 2) There is a positive relationship between creative thinking ability (X2) and writing fantasy story text skills (Y). This statement can be seen from the significance level of 0.05; it is obtained that count is 4.911 > t table is 1.697. 3) There is a positive relationship between students' achievement motivation (X1) and creative thinking ability (X2), together with writing fantasy story text skills (Y). This statement can be seen from the significant level of 0.05 obtained from F count 18.373 > F table 3.32. Abstrak Permasalahan yang diteliti yaitu hubungan motivasi berprestasi dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif terhadap kemampuan menulis teks cerita fantasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antaramotivasi berprestasi dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan keterampilan menulis teks cerita fantasi siswa kelas VII MTSN 13 Jakarta. Penelitian dilakukan dengan subjek penelitian yaitu kelas VII I MTSN 13 Jakarta dengan jumlah 32 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode korelasi. Hasil penelitian dapat dijabarkan sebagai berikut: 1) terdapat hubungan yang positifantara motivasi berprestasi siswa (X1) dengan keterampilan menulis teks cerita fantasi (Y). Pernyataan ini dapat dilihat dari taraf sifnifikan 0,05 diperoleh t hitung 5.122 > t tabel 1.697. 2) Ada hubungan yangpositif antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif (X2) dengan keterampilan menulis teks cerita fantasi (Y). Pernyataan ini dapat dilihat dari taraf sifnifikan 0,05 diperoleh t hitung 4.911 > t tabel 1.697. 3) Ada hubungan yang positif antara motivasi berprestasi siswa (X1) dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif (X2) secara bersama-sama dengan keterampilan menulis teks cerita fantasi (Y). Pernyataan ini dapat dilihat daritaraf sifnifikan 0,05 diperoleh F hitung 18.373 > F tabel 3.32. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis teks cerita fantasi dipengaruhi oleh motivasi berprestasi dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif.]]>
