Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the learning process by utilizing Indonesian language learning at Islamic Junior High School Al Azhar 22 Sentra Primer East Jakarta. This research is a qualitative research, using a narrative method and a genre pedagogical approach. The data sources of this research were 19 students of class 9A and 23 students of class 9D with data collection techniques through tests and non-tests in the form of observation, filling out questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the research conducted, it was obtained data that the schoology application was very effective in improving students' skills in writing discussion texts. This can be seen in the acquisition of data on the average increase in class 9A from 77.92 to 82.92 and class 9D from 80 to 88. In the process of this study it was also concluded that the schoology application requires an appropriate learning approach to facilitate students' ability to operate it. This research is expected to be used as an alternative to improve the process and results of Indonesian language learning, especially the skill of writing discussion texts by utilizing the schoology application. Keyword: Digital Literacy, Schoology, Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP Islam Al Azhar 22 Sentra Primer Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, menggunakan metode naratif dan pendekatan pedagogi genre. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah 19 siswa kelas 9A dan 23 siswa kelas 9D dengan teknik pengambilan data melalui tes dan nontes berupa observasi, pengisian kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh data bahwa aplikasi schoology sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan siswa menulis teks diskusi. Hal tersebut terlihat pada perolehan data peningkatan rata-rata pada kelas 9A dari 77.92 menjadi 82.92 dan kelas 9D dari 80 menjadi 88. Pada proses penelitian ini diambil pula kesimpulan bahwa aplikasi schoology memerlukan pendekatan pembelajaran yang tepat untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan siswa dalam mengoperasikannya. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan proses serta hasil pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia khususnya keterampilan menulis teks diskusi dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi schoology. Kata kunci: Literasi Digital, Schoology, Bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

 The purpose of this study is to describe the readability rate of articles contained in Electronic Book for Schools (EBS), Indonesian Language textbook for High School students, The author is using Flesch Formula technique in measuring the readability of the articles, which is “RE = 206,835 – (1,015  ASL) – (84,6  ASW)”, In The said analysis, we take two paragraphs from each article as a sample for the measurement of the readability, Based on our study, we know that the average readability of an article in Electronic Book for Schools (EBS), Indonesian Language textbook is very low, which is -15,79, The result of this research can be utilized as the basis in choosing articles or texts for reference materials in teaching Indonesian language for high school students,Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan tingkat keterbacaan artikel yang terkandung dalam Buku Sekolah Elektronik (BSE), buku teks Bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa SMA, Metode yang digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat keterbacaan adalah dengan menggunakan Formula Flesch, yaitu "RE = 206,835 - (1,015 ASL) - (84,6  ASW)", Dalam analisis tingkat keterbacaan tersebut, kami mengambil dua paragraf dari setiap artikel sebagai sampel untuk pengukuran keterbacaan, Berdasarkan penelitian kami, dapat diketahui, bahwa rata-rata keterbacaan wacana yang terdapat dalam Buku Sekolah Elektronik (BSE) buku teks Bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa SMA sangat rendah, yaitu -15,79, Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar dalam memilih artikel atau teks untuk bahan referensi dalam pengajaran bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa sekolah menengah,

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of the arguments contained in the discussion text in the BSE Indonesian Language textbook for class IX SMP, both in supporting and challenging arguments. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with content analysis method. Sources of data in this study are a number of discussion texts contained in the discussion text material in the BSE Indonesian Language textbook for class XI SMP. The results of this study indicate that the supporting and challenging arguments in the discussion text 1 under the title "Recycling for a Green Lifestyle" have a good rating category in the completeness of the content and pouring out the problems/issues discussed. Meanwhile, in supporting and challenging arguments, discussion text 2 under the title “Awareness of Paying Taxes” has a very good assessment in the completeness of the content and discussion of the problems/issues discussed. So that this discussion text book is able to become a learning material that can increase the creativity of students in utilizing the arguments described in the discussion text.Keywords: Discussion Text, Supporting Arguments, Challenging Arguments

Abstract

This article reports on the results of a R &D study on standard evaluation instruments used to measure students’ higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in Indonesian Language textbooks for the tenth-grade students registered in the academic year of 2019/2020. A qualitative approach to data collection and data analysis was employed. The identification of the research object was carried out by coding various data about the diversity of standard evaluation instruments of HOTS by examining the operational words used and the form of competency measured. The data were analyzed with regard to the level of tendency towards the measurement of certain aspects of thinking. Based on the findings of the research, it can be seen that HOTS contained in Indonesian textbooks class X are already diverse; however, the percentage of diversity is not yet proportional. The aspects include creative thinking (28.3%), critical thinking (37.2%), problem solving (18.6%), and decision making (15.9%) of all evaluation instruments analyzed. A less proportional percentage of each of these aspects shows that the utilization of HOTS standard evaluation instrument development criteria has not been maximally pursued.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the diversity of critical thinking contained in the evaluation instrument at Electronic School Book (BSE) Indonesian High School 2019/2020 Academic Year. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying the principles of content analysis. The data sources in this study were 541 evaluation instruments spread over eight teaching materials, namely compiling procedural texts, studying explanatory texts, managing information in lectures, studying life in short stories, preparing proposals, designing scientific papers, assessing works through reviews, and plays. The results showed that there were 189 evaluation instruments relevant to critical thinking aspects. Determines the credibility of a source and distinguishes between relevant and irrelevant as much as 22 or 11.6%. Identifies and evaluates unspoken assumptions and identifies biases that exist as many as 19 questions or 10.1%. Identifies the point of view as much as 100 questions or 52.9%, and evaluates the evidence offered to support as much as 7 questions or 3.7%. Based on the percentage of each critical thinking indicator, it can be concluded that efforts to develop critical thinking aspects in the evaluation instrument of the Indonesian Senior High School BSE have been developed well and are quite diverse.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi para guru bahasa Indonesia SMA di Wilayah Provinsi DKI Jakarta, Indonesia tentang hubungan antara penerapan full day school dan penguatan pendidikan karakter bagi siswa. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalaui survei secara online kepada sejumlah guru bahasa Indonesia. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah bersifat purposive sehingga tidak dapat dijadikan sebagai landasan untuk menggeneralkan persepsi dari sejumlah populasi. Data yang dideskripsikan dalam penelitian ini mencakup dua hal, yaitu berupa hubungan antara status kepegawaian dan pengalaman kerja dengan persepsi tentang full day school sebagai penguatan pendidikan karakter bagi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjuukan,  bahwa terdapat hubungan status kepegawaian dan pengalaman dengan persepsi terhadap sistem full day school sebagai penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa, yaitu  1) hubungan antara pengalaman dan  persepsi terhadap full day school sebagai wahana penguatan karakter siswa sebesar 0.161, dan 2) hubungan antara status kepegawaian dan persepsi terhadap full day school sebagai wahana penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa sebesar 0.033. Hasil Penelitian ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai salah satu evaluasi mengenai efektivitas penerapan full day school dalam sistem persekolahan di Indonesia.  Kata kunci: Persepsi, pengalaman, status kepegawaian, full day school. Abstract: This study aims to describe the perceptions of high school Indonesian language teachers in the DKI Jakarta Province, Indonesia about the relationship between implementing full day school and strengthening character education of student. The research data was obtained through an online survey of a number of Indonesian Language Teachers. The sample used in the study is purposive so that it cannot be used as a basis for generalizing the perception of a number of populations. The data described in this study includes two things, namely in the form of a relationship between staffing status and work experience with perceptions about full day school as a reinforcement of character education of student. The results show that there is a relationship between staffing status and experience with the perception of the full day school system as a reinforcement of student character education, namely 1) the relationship between experience with the perception of full day school as a vehicle for strengthening the character of students is equal to 0.161, and 2) the relationship between employment status with the perception of full day school vehicle for strengthening student character education is 0.033. The results of this study can be used as an evaluation of the effectiveness of implementing Full Day School in the school system in Indonesia. Keywords: Perception, experience, employment status, full day school

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang yang terdapat dalam alat evalausi bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa  kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 22 Pamulang, Tangerang Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip analisis isi sebagaimana yang direkomendasikan oleh Krippendorff yaitu melalui pengunitan, penyamplingan, perekaman, penyederhanaan data, penyimpulan, dan penarasian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa nilai-nilai karakter yang ditanamkan kepada siswa melalui alat evaluasi bahasa Indonesia cukup beragam, yaitu mencakup nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang bersumber dari (1) olah pikir, yaitu berupa kecermatan, kritis, berani mengutarakan pendapat, kreatif, dan inovatif, (2) olah raga/kinestetik, yaitu berupa tidak mudah menyerah, giat berlatih, dan disiplin, dan (3) olah karsa/rasa, yaitu berupa sederhana, cinta tanah air, menghargai jasa pahlawan, rendah hati, ramah, patuh kepada orang tua, dan taat beribadah.Kata kunci:  Pendidikan karakter, evaluasi, bahasa IndonesiaAbstract: This study aims to find the values of character education that are contained in the tool of Indonesian language evalusi for the seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 22 Pamulang, Tangerang Selatan. This research is qualitative approach by applying the principles of content analysis as recommended by Krippendorff that is by streaming, sampling, recording, data simplification, inference, and penarasian. The result of the research shows that the values of the characters that are implanted to the students through the evaluation tool of Indonesian language are quite diverse, which includes the values of character education which come from (1) if thought, that is in the form of accuracy, critical, daring to express opinions, innovative, (2) sports / kinesthetic, ie not easily give up, enterprising practice, and discipline, and (3) if karsa / rasa, that is simple, love the homeland, appreciate the services of heroes, humble, friendly, obedient to parents, and obedient worship.Keywords: Character education, evaluation, Indonesian language.

Abstract

Artikel bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai keteladanan yang terdapat dalam teks biografi pada buku sekolah elektronik (BSE) Bahasa Indonesia SMA kelas X tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang digali dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai keteladanan yang terdapat dalam teks biografi pada buku BSE bahasa Indonesia kelas X SMA. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh sejumlah data yaitu dalam teks biografi pada buku BSE bahasa Indonesia  kelas X SMA terdapat beberapa nilai keteladanan, yaitu berupa ketabahan, berpendirian teguh, bekerja keras, bertekad kuat, rendah hati, ulet, profesional dan disiplin waktu, tekun belajar, keberanian, cerdas, dan bersikap kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan teks biografi yang dimuat dalam BSE Bahasa Indonesia kelas X SMA berkualitas baikKata Kunci: Nilai Keteladanan; Teks Biografi.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe the research findings regarding the conformity level of the evaluation instruments in the BSE for Grade IX of Junior High School in the academic year of 2019/2020 with the basic competencies in the 2013 Curriculum. The research method used in the research was content analysis, by matching each evaluation instrument in the BSE for Indonesian language subject for Grade IX of Junior High School in the academic year of 2019/2020 with the basic competencies of the 2013 Curriculum. The data analyzed were 77 evaluation instruments related to four teaching materials, namely exemplum text, critical response text, refutation text, and experimental record text. The results showed that the average conformity level of the evaluation instruments in the BSE for Indonesian language subject for Grade IX in the academic year of 2019/2020 was 89.70%. The average score indicates that the conformity level of the evaluation instruments in the BSE for Indonesian language subject with the 2013 Curriculum is very high. The results of this study can be used as an indicator of quality BSE assessment.

Abstract

The level of student satisfaction with the educational process has a very important role in supporting the sustainability of an institution. This study aims to describe the level of satisfaction of SPs students. UHAMKA who has graduated in the academic year 2018/2019 on the organization of education that took place at the Graduate School. This research was conducted using survey methods. The instrument used to measure the level of student satisfaction is a number of structured questions related to leadership, learning, facilities and infrastructure, as well as the impact of studies at UHAMKA on career development. The results showed that the level of student satisfaction at the UHAMKA Graduate School was very satisfying. Quantitatively the average student satisfaction was 88.03. The results of this study can be used as a basis for evaluating and developing follow-up efforts for leaders in the UHAMKA graduate school environment.
