PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA MELALUI MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DAN METODE PROBING-PROMTING

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low grade study result of the students in natural science VA Elementary School 05 West Metro. The purpose of research is to improve study result in natural science through the application of problem-based learning model and probing-promting method. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles with the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection through nontes and test techniques using observation and test questions. Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the application of problem-based learning model and probing-promting method can improve study result in natural science.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V A SD Negeri 05 Metro Barat.Tujuan penelitian adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA melalui penerapan model problem based learning dan metode probing-promting.Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan datamelalui teknik nontes dan tes dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes.Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model problem based learning dan metode probing-promtingdapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA.Kata kunci: hasil belajar,probing-promting, problem based learning.
