PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS MELALUI COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE TPS DAN MEDIA GRAFIS

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low study result of the students in social science IVA Elementary School 2 South Metro. The purpose of this research was to improve the study result in social science learning through the application of problem-based learning model and probing-promting method. This type of research was a classroom action research conducted in two cycles with the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collectiontechniques was through nontest and test techniques. Data were analyzed by qualitative and quantitative aalysis. The results of this research showed that the application of Cooperative Learning model TPS type and graphic media can increase study result in social science learning at IV A student of SDN 2 Metro Selatan.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS kelas IVA SD Negeri 2 Metro Selatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS melalui penerapan model Cooperative Learning Tipe TPS dan Media Grafis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui teknik nontes dan tes dengan menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Cooperative Learning Tipe TPS dan Media Grafis dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 2 Metro Selatan.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, model cooperative learning tipe TPS, media grafis .
