<![CDATA[Giritengah Village is located at the southern tip of Borobudur District, about 5 km to the southwest from Borobudur Temple. This village has a background in the Menoreh hills and has unspoiled natural conditions. In accordance with its natural conditions, the community seeks to optimize it to become a tourist destination village. Giritengah village tourism destinations are natural tourism, cultural tourism, and educational tourism. One of the natural tourist attractions is the Pos Mati, which is a place that offers interesting views from the top of the hill, and you can enjoy the sunrise. The journey to reach the top of the Pos Mati is done by walking through a simple stair which is still in the form of dirt. Meanwhile tourists must travel starting in the early hours of the morning with with road conditions that are still dark. This is the problem of the partners. As a solution, install LED lights on these simple stairs. The methode of implementing community service (PKM) is in the form of a science and technology solution, namely the application of LED lighting technology for outdoor lighting. The result of the PKM activity was the installation of a filament bulb LED lamp as lighting for the simple staircase area. Tourists who leave in the early hours of the morning when it is pitch dark, heading to the Pos Mati to enjoy the sunrise, are helped by the lighting. Lighting with illuminance of 2-5 lux can identify parts of the stairs, so that it is expected to increase security and avoid accidents. So, the lighting makes the tourists more comfortable visually. With good management and a comfortable area, tourists will not mind being charged a fee when they come to the Pos Mati. Part of this levy fee is used to reimburse the cost of PLN'selectricity, which currently draws its power from one of the residents' houses. ABSTRAK : Desa Giritengah terletak di ujung selatan Kecamatan Borobudur, berjarak sekitar 5 km ke arah barat daya dari CandiB orobudur. Desa ini berlatar belakang perbukitan Menoreh dan memiliki kondisi alam yang masih alami. Sesuaik kondisi alamnya masyarakat berupaya mengoptimalkan untuk menjadi desa tujuan wisata. Destinasi wisata desa Giritengah adalah wisata alam, wisata budaya, dan wisata edukasi. Salah satu tempat wisata alam adalah Pos Mati,yaitu tempat yang menyajikan pemandangan menarik dari atas bukit dan dapat menikmati sunrise. Perjalanan untuk mencapai puncak Pos Mati dilakukan dengan jalan kaki melewati tangga sederhana yang masih berupa tanah.Sementara itu wisatawan harus melakukan perjalanan pada dini hari dengan kondisi jalan yang masih gelap. Hal inilah yang menjadi permasalahan dari pihak mitra. Sebagai solusinya dilakukan pemasangan lampu LED di tangga sederhana tersebut. Metode pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat berupa solusi Ipteks, yaitu penerapan teknologi lampu LED untuk pencahayaan luar ruang. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM adalah terpasangnya lampu LED filament bulb sebagai pencahayaan untuk area tangga sederhana. Wisatawan yang berangkat pada dini hari saat kondisi gelap gulita, menuju Pos Mati untuk menikmati sunrise, terbantu dengan adanya pencahayaan. Pencahayaan dengan iluminansi sebesar 2-5 lux, mampu untuk mengenali bagian-bagian tangga, sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatan keamanan dan terhindar dari kecelakaan. Jadi adanya pencahayaan membuat para wisatawan lebih nyaman secara visual. Dengan adanya pengelolaan yang baik dan area yang nyaman, maka wisatawan tidak akan keberatan jika akan dikenai retribusi pada saat datang ke Pos Mati. Biaya retribusi ini sebagian dipakai untuk penggantian biaya listrik PLN, yang saat ini pengambilan dayanya dari salah satu rumah warga. ]]>
