Pengembangan media pembelajaran e-flipbook berbasis flip PDF professional materi penjajahan bangsa Eropa ke Indonesia untuk siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Klirong, Kabupaten Kebumen

Abstract

Writing articles aims to create products and find out the effectiveness of using e-flipbook learning media based on Flip PDF Professional material for colonization by Europeans to Indonesia for class XI IPS 1, SMA Negeri 1 Klirong, Kebumen Regency. Needs analysis in the form of student needs, material needs related to Basic Competencies, indicators, and media needs. Problems were found, including: the delivery of material using lecture techniques with the use of PowerPoint does not provide students with understanding, the material is considered difficult by containing many components, the use of few learning resources in the form of worksheets and textbooks, and the use of learning media is not optimal. The research model includes Sugiyono's 10 steps, using data collection instruments in the form of observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in the form of qualitative data and quantitative data. E-flipbook products are designed with an attractive appearance such as quizzes, pictures, videos, as well as features that are easy for smartphones to operate. The results of the study prove that the learning media is said to be very valid and effectively applied to learning activities with the total results of the material validation assessment getting 89.33 percent, media experts getting 94.66 percent, small group trials getting 91.33 percent, and large group testing get 84.26 percent. Based on the results of product validation and trial percentages, the Flip PDF Professional-based e-flipbook learning media is very valid and very effective in the history learning process. Penulisan artikel bertujuan menciptakan produk serta mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan media pembelajaran e-flipbook berbasis Flip PDF Professional materi penjajahan bangsa Eropa ke Indonesia untuk kelas XI IPS 1, SMA Negeri 1 Klirong, Kabupaten Kebumen. Analisis kebutuhan berupa kebutuhan siswa, kebutuhan materi terkait Kompetensi Dasar, indikator, serta kebutuhan media. Ditemukan masalah antara lain: penyampaian materi menggunakan teknik ceramah dengan pemanfaatan Power Point kurang memberikan pemahaman siswa, materi termasuk sulit dengan memuat komponen yang banyak, pemakaian sumber belajar yang sedikit berupa LKS dan buku paket, serta pemanfaatan media pembelajaran kurang optimal. Model penelitian meliputi 10 langkah Sugiyono, memakai instrumen pengumpulan data berupa pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, serta angket. Teknik analisis data berupa data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Produk e-flipbook didesain dengan tampilan menarik seperti kuis, gambar, video, serta fitur-fitur yang mudah dioperasikan oleh smartphone. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa media pembelajaran tersebut dikatakan sangat valid dan efektif diaplikasikan pada kegiatan pembelajaran dengan hasil total penilaian validasi materi mendapatkan 89,33 persen, ahli media mendapatkan 94,66 persen, uji coba kelompok kecil mendapatkan 91,33 persen, dan uji kelompok besar mendapatkan 84,26 persen. Berdasarkan perolehan hasil persentase validasi dan ujicoba produk, maka media pembelajaran e-flipbook berbasis Flip PDF Professional sangat valid dan sangat efektif diaplikasikan dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah.
