This research to improve the learning outcomes of students in Indonesian subjects, especially the material of sorting events based on stories using the Role Playing method assisted by class V stepped snake at SDN Maospati 3. The ability to sequence events has been seen through test result about events that are in order according to the story. This study is a classroom action research using the Kemmis and Mc Taggarrt models. This research was conducted in grade 5 of SDN Maospati 3 which amounted to 38 students. The study consisted of 2 cycles. Research data were obtained from observation and test activities. Data analysis in this study was carried out with quantitative and descriptive qualitative. The results of this study show that the application of the Role Playing method assisted by stepped snake media can improve learning outcomes Indonesian grade 5 students at SDN Maospati 3.
