Abstract

Mathematics is a difficult subject for most fourth grade students. This was proven because in mathematics the student learning outcomes were low. The purpose of this research is to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research with 24 Class IV students at SDN Bogorejo consisting of 9 male students and 15 female students as research subjects. This research was conducted in two cycles using tests to obtain students' cognitive data and documentation to record the learning process. The results showed an increase in two cycles. In cycle I, 45% or 10 students achieved mastery of learning outcomes, while in cycle II it increased to 91% or 20 students achieved mastery and only 9% or 2 students did not achieve completeness. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Use of the PBL Learning Model Through the Media of Mysterious Card Boxes to Improve Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Grade IV Students at SDN Bogorejo in 2023.
