Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan membaca pemahaman antara siswa yang diajarkan dengan menerapkan model multiliterasi dan directed reading thinking activity. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah model multiliterasi dan directed reading thinking activity sebagai variabel bebas dan kemampuan membaca pemahaman sebagai variabel terikat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Adapun desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu quasy experimental dalam bentuk posttest only control group design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri Salatiga 03 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dan SD Negeri Salatiga 06 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik tes. Tes digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t dengan independent sample t-test dengan bantuan SPSS 25 for Windows. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model multiliterasi dan directed reading thinking activity. Hasil uji t diperoleh hasil sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,002 < 0,05. The variables in this study are the multiliteracy model and directed reading thinking activities as the independent variabel and reading comprehension ability as the dependent variable. The research method used in this research is experimental research. The research design used is quasy experiment in the form of a posttest oly control group design. The samples used in this study were all fifth grade students at SD Negeri Salatiga 03 as the experimental class 1 and SD Negeri Salatiga 06 as the experimental class 2. The data collection technique used in this study was s tedt technique. The test is used to determine students’ resding comprehension sbility. The dsts snslysis used was the t-test with an independent sample t-test with the help of SPSS 25 for Windows. Based on results of the study it was concluded that were difference between students who were taught using the multiliteracy model and directed reading thinking activity.
