ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui latar belakang pendidikan dan kreativitas mengajar guru terhadap minat belajar siswa di smk n 2 tondano Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif sedangkan desain penelitian ialah penelitian ex pose facto. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini di ambil dengan cara observasi, studi dokumenter, kuisioner dan angket serta penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa angket tertutup.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Latar Belakang Pendidikan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa di SMK Negeri 2 Tondano. Kreatifitas Mengajar Guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa di SMK Negeri 2 Tondano. Latar Belakang Pendidikan dan Kreatifitas Mengajar Guru secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa di SMK Negeri 2 Tondano. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Kreatifitas Mengajar, Minat Belajar Abstrack This study aims to determine the educational background and teaching creativity of teachers on students' interest in learning at SMK N 2 Tondano The type of research used in this research is quantitative research while the research design is ex pose facto research. Data collection techniques in this study were taken by means of observation, documentary studies, questionnaires and questionnaires and this study used an instrument in the form of a closed questionnaire. The results showed that educational background had a positive and significant effect on student learning interest at SMK Negeri 2 Tondano. Teacher Teaching Creativity has a positive and significant effect on Student Learning Interests at SMK Negeri 2 Tondano. Educational Background and Teaching Creativity of Teachers together have a positive and significant effect on Student Learning Interests at SMK Negeri 2 Tondano.
