The goal of this study was to undertake a needs analysis on the creation of media in the form of animated videos for visual arts classes in class IV of primary schools. In this study, the needs analysis method was used with the analysis stage of the ADDIE development paradigm, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and assessment. In this finding, the researcher collected data descriptively through qualitative and quantitative by using a questionnaire as the main data collection tool. Techniques for gathering data through interviews, surveys, and documentation. The survey results showed that out of 22 students of class IVA at school, 91% needed to use animated videos in class when learning about fine arts and 91% The results of this study showed that students thought animated video-based media was intriguing. The research leads us to the conclusion that animated video media for fine arts education must be developed.
