Abstract

Abstrak            Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi komunikasi pemasaran Hotel Poncowinatan selama pandemi Covid-19 di Yogyakarta dengan mengunakan analisis SWOT yaitu terkait dengan kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif, menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan sumber data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Peneliti melakukan sesi wawancara terhadap pengelola, observasi di Hotel Poncowinatan Yogyakarta, serta melakukan studi dokumentasi data berupa hasil statistik tingkat kenaikan pengunjung yang dapat dianalisis. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis lapangan Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Keabsahan data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan jenis triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pemasaran ditekankan berdasarkan analisis matrik SWOT yang berada pada kuadran I, yakni growth-oriented strategy. Strategi tersebut memungkinkan Hotel Poncowinatan untuk terus melakukan ekspansi, memperbesar pertumbuhan dan meraih kemajuan secara maksimal. Strategi yang direkomendasikan adalah memperluas wilayah pemasaran melalui media sosial dengan memperjelas konsep serta visi dan misi Hotel.Kata Kunci: Strategi Komunikasi, Pandemi Covid-19, Analisis SWOT Abstract            This research is aimed to find out how the marketing communication strategy of Hotel Poncowinatan during the Covid-19 pandemic in Yogyakarta by using a SWOT analysis, there are strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat. This is a research with qualitative approach, using descriptive analysis method and sources of data in this study using primary and secondary data sources. Researchers conducted interviews with managers, made observations at Hotel Poncowinatan Yogyakarta, as well as conducted a study of data documentation in the form of statistical results of the increase in visitor rates that could be analyzed. The data analysis technique was carried out using Miles and Huberman field analysis which included three stages, data reduction stage, data presentation, and verification. The validity of the data in this study was carried out using a type of source triangulation. The results show that the application of marketing strategy is emphasized based on the SWOT matrix analysis which is in quadrant I, called growth-oriented strategy. This strategy allows Hotel Poncowinatan to continue to expand, increase growth and achieve maximum progress. The recommended strategy is to expand the marketing area through social media by clarifying the concept and vision and mission of the Hotel.Keyword: Communication Strategies, Covid-19 Pandemic, SWOT Analysis
